Mumm-Ra was indeed a threat to the ThunderCats.
Ofc he was a threat but he did not really do much himself. He always flied away like team rocket in pokemon and like āIāLL BE BAAAAAACKā
In episode 6 and Lionās Trials the final part he ran away like a littleā¦
I have to admit he was kinda awesome where he transform into a dinosaurā¦but I guess I would LOVE to see ThunderCats series get grittier (sorta like X-Men anime or GI Joe Resolute) w/o all the boring dialogue.
Mumm-Ra should have killed Panthro so I donāt have to look at them silly robot arms lol
I like Panthroās cybernetic arms. I donāt like how they stretch.
Every time I see the cybernetic stretchy arms, I canāt help but think of Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece. Then I get a mental image of them side-by-side. Dude, the stretchy arms just donāt work for Panthro. It wouldāve been cooler if he had like nunchuku like fingers or something like that, or maybe they were afraid to go the Transformers route. Oh GAWD! He can be a robotic cat Iron Hide (or Bulkhead since the both characters have the same VA!) Iād die a happy fangirl!
Speaking of Panthro, i just watched how i met your mother and the voice actor was in one episode couching Barney the ultimate womanizer, and he had THE SAME VOICE as Panthro and i just laughed the whole episode.
It was funny.
I would like it if Mumm-Ra would be more sadistic and cruel like his original incarnation because the new Mumm-Ra seems to lack that. Also, Panthro having stretchy arms seems too weak. It would be cooler if they were also rocket arms and would, also, have that strength enhancement ability.
Correct on both fronts, kman.
Also, Is ThunderCats really cancelled???
we dont know yet. That article points in the other direction but Dan acts like itās gone for good. Just pick your cup of Tea mate.

Iām sorry, and I hate to be negative, but I have pretty much lost all hope of a continuation of the current series. Itās done. Over. I am EXTREMELY UPSET, but Iāve come to accept this. I think the best hope we have is a reboot of a reboot, which is NOT what I want but is most likely what will happen. Whatever comes, I will support it 100% no matter what it is.
I donāt think youāre being negative. I think weāre all past being negative, and are just accepting the situation for what it is. The 2011 reboot is not going to get another season. Extremely sad, but these things happen.
Just to shoot this out there, I myself am not currently interested in a possible reboot but for those who are, good for them:thumbsup:

Everything related to YJ said the show would continue in September but now it just says āTBAā. I swear to god if they cancel that show too, they will NEVER be able to bring me back to their channel. Ever.
