With Dan’s typing around on facebook. Maybe they have another group working on it? It really sounds that like good news is coming and it seems like none of the “old guys” is working on it.
Meh.
I wouldn’t mind some new writers on the show, but I’d hate to think they kicked Dan off if they’re still continuing. His concepts and designs are the absolute best things about the show.
I think the writing is fine and the art style is great.
I hope this will be good news but at least it is news, I mean no news for a while did suck.

There’s a fan comic based on the 2011 series that’s happening on one of the forums. Just check out “ThunderCats Fan Comic?” and you’re there. 
From what he put on FB, he is out. Probably also the rest of the creative team associated with NS2011. I wouldn’t dismiss the article too quickly, they hit the nail on the head back in March about the show status. Bandai spent a lot of money on the master license for the brand, so they would probably like to see something back on their investment. I would guess that there is probably a reboot of this reboot in the works, new writers and artists, etc. As for this story line, it’s probably done. We’ll see soon though.
Would not be the first time a new season shows a different look upon the show, but i hate it happening to this if that’s the truth, or Dan is just trolling us.

My first choice would have been for them to continue another season of this series to wrap up the story. That being said, if it is between another reboot of Thundercats or no cartoon at all than give me a reboot any day. I just want a quality Thundercats cartoon out there!
NOthing wrong with this show really, it’s very rich with lore which for me is great. This show also inspired me with the magic/tech story or rather Sci-fi/fantasy story.
I would hate for it to be another total reboot of the series. I’d prefer a retool that continues the story; different crew, animation studio, writers, etc. I’d like them to keep the same voice actors as well.

Well if the artists are changing, can’t they just age the characters a little? That’d allow for some variation in the character sketches. But what is this talk about possible reboot? I hope its not true, just continue with what we have. If anything, just improve the dialogue a little. Rest of the stuff is fine in my opinion, despite my reservations about tech-savvy Mumm-Ra still.
