DN said himself that no one was working on it. If they were getting new artists i’m sure he would have said something.
Everybody at WB is pretty secretive about the future of “ThunderCats.”
One thing that’s come to my mind, and I’m probably wrong, but what if Warner Bros. were to give ThunderCats to Cartoon Network, so they could produce it using their own studios and resources? WB probably wants to keep a firm hold on their DC stuff, but might be willing to give up TC.
CN might be interested in more TC but WB is not. Maybe WB was the problem all long?
I LOVE the character designs (with the exception of Cheetara needing more spots) LOVE the story and the journey of the characters, love their personalities, they don’t NEED to be rebooted, just some tweeks to the writing! Rebooting this reboot, if thats the plan would only confuse the younger viewers. I’m confused as to how this happened in the first plan when crappy shows are still on the air for years!
Now I can (relatively) adjust to new art designs and i am willing to give new voice actors chance. But if the show does decide to reboot the story, then i’m not sure if i can keep watching a show that just threw something at me and expected me to accept it as canon.
If they must change the music, the art and even the voices, so be it. But i really hope they pick up where Season 1 left off, i really need closure for that

Why is everyone assuming there’s gonna be a reboot?! Bringing on new artists in NO WAY means there will be ANY change to the story.:eek:

I think someone got a hold of some bad information.
Maybe he knows and is angry they “kicked” him. Or he just got better pay from the new Batman show than Thundercats but wanted the same pay to work on Thundercats instead cause he likes that more.
I’d be careful with what I believe as THAT website has stated things before that never came to pass. Thats not to say something isn’t in the works, but we’ve been in this situation before and been left disapointed 
I doubt Dan’s getting paid more on Batman. He was the Art Director on Tcats, and AFAIK he’s just rendering background models on Batman. I could be wrong on what all he’s doing on Batman, but He’s not as high up.
Well I think the people that worked on the show and its fans deserve a clear answer one way or the other.

I don’t think it can get clearer than this in Dan’s own words, “Let me just say, nobody is working on TCats.” I think it is really canceled. I read the toynewsi article and it did shed some little light on the series but i don’t know how reliable this web site is on their info. So not getting my hopes up to quickly.

Yep we sure do. i am not giving up on that. If they do a new reboot they can probably pick up season three. They might call it something else and say everything what happen before then. If the new writers and artists have rights to continue the story.
I want the current story to continue.
That would be nice to see as the story was getting good too!
But I really want to see new studio/writers and actors (especially Mumm-Ra) really do the series justice…I’m sorry Mumm-Ra and Panthro were huge disappointments to me in the 2011.
Mumm-Ra was not even a threat to the ThunderCats as advertised on the toy blister cards lol
