Does the reviewer compare the “Thundercats Ho!”? I’m not going to watch 10 minutes of it to find out, but that’d be my guess.

As episode four did show us a new “animation” for when Lion-O draws his sword i have now made another “Cast your vote” about which one is the best?

The one from 2011 is done more in a more subtle way.
I like the HO sound from the OS but I like the visual in the NS
Someone wanted me to do a combo of both. I still don’t really understand nor remember how he wanted it to be. Oh well i guess it will have to wait for later!!

I took the 2011 footage and redid it with the “ho” from the intro. I’m trying to make one from an episode aswell.
Side note: More people need to tell their opinion on which one is better 
I have to go with Will’s. He just sells it. And coming from him, it just sounds more earnest. No offense to Larry, but hearing him do it (except in the NS as Claudus) just sounded cheesy.
True story: I was watching the OS back in '85 or '86 I think. My dad was in the room. He heard the Thundercats say, “Thundercats! Ho!” And he just looked at the TV and deadpanned, “Thundercats. Ho.” which was his way of indicating that he didn’t buy it and that the show itself was pretty dumb, and implying that at my age I shouldn’t be watching it (I was 16 then). I was pretty embarrassed, and had to admit to myself that to a certain extent he was right.
I think though that if he were to see the new series, he’d be totally into it, and wouldn’t think Will’s “Thundercats! Ho!” would sound goofy at all. So yeah, definitely the 2011 version.

Sorry, I thought I mentioned in my post that I thought the way Larry Kenney did it as Claudus in the new series was good. It just worked with the way his character was written than more serious tone the new show was going for.
He actually just said THUNDECATS HO!

I would have to say 2011 all the way. To me it sounds more powerful and has more emotion behind it.
I wouldn’t agree exactly, i could say that the emotion and power in the NS is around the story and plot whereas the excitement and sentiment in the OS was all over the characters and their actions. To make it simpler, in the OS the moment Lion-O does his iconic : Thunder thunder Thundercats HOOOO’ hides so much power and feeling encompassing all the essence of Thundercats in one simple sentence, no wonder why we craved to see it in every episode without being boring.On the other hand in the NS we care more about the reasons which lead Lion-O saying instead of the moment itself
Generally, it’s too early to make a safe assumption which is empty.I wait the series to finish first and then discuss on this matter
I mostly just like the way 2011 Lion-O’s voice drops like five octaves for it.
