It’s a hard choice. I think the new one is just a little too slow (too much of a pause between “Thunders”), but looks better visually.
You are so right. Hard to decide.
Who will be the first to make a choice?
I said in another topic that I like the new one more.
2011 version sounds more epic, the little pauzes, the sound of the sword growing add drama and also Friedle’s delivery is more raw and furious.

For me, the sequence “Thunder…Thunder…Thunder…THUNDERCATS - HOOOO!!” will always be about Larry Kenney and the original voice of Lion-O! 
…But, I do like the new version too!

Just add the original intro as background music to Friedle’s “Ho” and nothing can top it…so 2011. It’s just intense.
Got to be the old one, its a classic, though I loved the colour scheme of the new one.
Wow, that new “ThunderCats Ho” scene is powerful! 
As for which one is better – the 1985 one or the 2011 one – I’d say they’re pretty much neck-and-neck.

Larry’s performance is great. But Friedle’s just feels intense. Mix that up with the so far not seen in the new series classic theme as background music/noise and you’ve got the recipe for badassery.
After that first Thunder it always feels like to me like the video paused for a second. I thought it was a glitch initially on the ringtone page’s video, but seeing it in the episode last night makes me think is was perhaps intentional. Although maybe it was some weird bit of editing given that it was clearly ripped from the new intro and not designed to be in-episode. At least, I hope they’re not just going to constantly repeat the same battle cry animation like the OG series did.
But, their both pretty awesome.

I get goosebumps when I listen to either version, but I vote for the original.
BTW you could have added an actual vote option to this thread, to see which one gets more votes.
I have a place in my heart for the old series, I grew up with it as a kid. The new one is really awesome, but only one episode out and only a few days old. If I have to choose one I’d go with the old show.
I will still watch and love the new series too.
I am just glad that Larry/Claudus got to so Thundercats Ho! at least once this time… it was great!

The original series was my favorite cartoon as a child, therefore I will always love Mr. Kenney’s “Thunder, Thunder, Thunder, ThunderCats Ho!” more than anyone else who ever does it. Lion-O’s voice from the OS is etched in my memories, the voice of a hero who, as a kid, I respected.
I think Will Friedle and the animators did a fine job with the new one, but the new series can’t hope to have the same effect on me as the original did simply because of the age I was then as opposed to now. Therefore, I will always have fonder memories for Mr. Kenney’s voice.
I hope that Lion-O summoning the eye of Thundera will send the cat signal to the others too if they’re not around. Guess they borrowed that one from Batman in the OS.

If you meant to say that the original is vastly superior, you need a comma after now and another after chance. - “It’s still way too early, but if you’re asking now, no chance, the original series is vastly superior.” No commas is saying the opposite, that you think the new one is superior. Just thought I’d point that out because I wasn’t sure which you were saying. 
The old was of course classic, you get a thrill when you hear it and sometimes its just so powerful you get the chills. But at times if you watch all the episodes, it seems like poor LK got tired of saying it, and it was half hearted in some of the episodes.
So far from just this new one, the rawness and the power of the call it great. I like how it sounded almost desperate but dertermined at the same tinme if that makes sense.
I vote new one, but it may be too early to tell still.
