why don’t we change Mandora from human to a cat for this NS comic. i don’t really feel comfortable with humans in this new thundercat series. i feel it might take the focus away from the thundercats.
Not sure about being a Thundercat but humans should not be in this show. Everyone seem to be some kind of “Creature” and i think it should stay like that.
I was actually a strong proponent of the “no humans” policy, until I remembered that we’ve already had a human on the show, the deulist. Granted he a very stylized human with purple skin but he certainly wasn’t an animal. Even considereing this I think we should keep humans to a bare minimum. Possibly just the warrior maidens if we decide to introduce them. In the case of Mandora we ocould actually have her helmet and uniform cover enough f her that we can’t tell what she is.
Obviously we’re going to go into the ocean and meet the Tigersharks at some point so they can grab the last crystal. But, has anyone actually seen any episodes of Tigersharks? I think I found the first episode right here, but I’m not sure.
I would not consider a purple being with red eyes a “human”. He’s just a humanoid just like the rest of the characters.
The reason why i would not like humans is just the simple fact that humans does not seem to exist in this world. If so, we probably would have seen them already or they got killed of by the cats or any other race. Humans walking around and talking wont does not really fit in this world when mostly everyone are some kind of animal.
And hopefully no one start the discussion about “Humans are also animals” and other crap to get their idea going.

It also just feels to easy “make it human”. Would be cool if we could create our own race, or give them something that already exist to make better connections to certain characters.
An example, though i dont think this should happen. Would be that the Lunataks would look simliar to Mumm-Ra and be his minions, special force or something simliar. Like someone said about Mandora being a cat which comes from space.
Duelist wasn’t human. He was a “Third Earth Native.” The crew said there are species native to Third Earth that aren’t based on any animals (and didn’t come from Mumm-Ra’s ship). Like the Wood Forgers for example.
But the reason I think Mandora could be an exception is because she’s not actually from Third Earth. She’s a space cop. She could come from a completely different galaxy.
If we’re going to introduce real humans, it won’t be for a very long time. But I do want to eventually have the Silverhawks and Mandora in the series, and I want them to be human. I think any of the humans could possibly reveal the origins of Mumm-Ra and the animal species, if they were from the original Earth.
What about the Berserkers? I think we all wanted to bring them back but they were cybernetic humans. Would we just change their design a little to make them different species more like the Wood Forgers or the Duelist?
So what planet does the humans come from if not earth? In the OS humans our world was the first world or something correct?
It was implied in the OS, but the Third Earth in the NS is obviously not our Earth. We don’t have two moons.
Actually, some scientists theorize that Earth did, indeed, have two moons but they collided and formed the one moon we have now.
But for that to have any relevance on what we’re talking about the stories in ThunderCats would’ve had to have been millions of years in our past.
I think it my be called Third Earth because it was the third earth-like planet discovered, but I could be wrong. I had thought that humans might have gone and colonized another planet and called it Second Earth. That’s something we may need to ask the creators about.
As for Berserkers, I do want them, so I would be quite willing to change them into Third Earth Natives.
Will the Warrior Maidens be Third Earth natives as well?
Probably, i dont think humans should live on the planet though.
So if we don’t want straight up humans we should make any human charcters into Third Earth natives like the Duelist or those guys from Magi Oar. We should make certain that they have some charcteristic that humans don’t have like unique skin and hair colours or unusual eye or nose shapes.
One thing I’ve been meaning to ask; is Panthro blind in his right eye? There’s a scar over it and the eye is discoloured so I’ve always wondered if he can see out of it or not.
I’ve taken for granted that Panthro just had a bruised cornea, but can see out of it.
Maybe Third Earth is Earth and the reason it would have two moons is because the second moon is actually a captured astroid that was pulled to Third Earth after Mumm-Ra’s Black Pyramid crashed. Does that sound logical?
