i’m glad you brought this up and i totally agree with everything you just said. a few pages back, i did mention having multiple artists working on multiple issues. this way, it speeds up process and relieves me of tackling multiple loads at a time. this also lets me take my time to focus on one issue, so it can be of quality work.
i also mentioned earlier to the writers, to come up with original characters and to let me know so i can come up with some character concepts for them. i want to at least sketch a few characters before the actual stories begin.
right now i am doing my own take on Bengali, using the NS style. i also came up with three different attires for him as well and when i finish, i would like some feedback from you guys whether good or bad.

Okay, cool. I think right now I’d like to see just some lizard designs other than the generic ones in Mumm-Ra’s army and slaves and more like the three lizard commandos. Just experimenting with different lizard species, like komodo dragons and horned lizards and frilled lizards. Also, maybe a cute little monkey girl.
I also mentioned combining the original Snow Man and Hachiman into one character and possibly making him a monkey as well, so you could try your hand at that.

I don’t know, how long is the average online comic supposed to come out?
I say once we get all the art things straightened out, we should do like some sort of illustration or propaganda of some sort to announce it.
One thing we definitely need to do is to have a set deadline for certain things. We need someone who is a good organizer, a database secretary, in case something gets lost on the forum or we need to know something, what deadlines are due, and things like that. Keep a binder in handy and stuff on who is doing what. Someone who can cover our behinds in case of an emergency and he/she has the paperwork/files with names and dates to back it up.
Not sure. This is one of those things where we’ll have to “test” the comic maybe with some completely irrelevant-to-the-plot “Pilot” so to speak.

that is a cool idea. i think maybe do like a teaser cover ad of the thundercats with mum-ra and some original characters to draw their attention. i think we should add like a “coming soon” text somewhere in the cover too. it’s just an idea, i’m sure there are better ones.

Sigh… Count me out then. Direct contact is gonna be the thing for this project. If people wanna make a comic by typing on a forum, waiting for the thread to get another reply instead of sitting in a live chat room with each other… I’ve got nothing to say.
EDIT: Dont think i’m bashing this, if you wanna keep this alive only by the forum instead of using the forum for BIG updates you may do that. I just think that if we/you are gonna work, a live chat, typing/chatting is gonna work better. Just think of bad the show would be, or any other comic book if they only waited for replys on forums instead of chatting, talking and meeting each other.
It’s not like we’re just going to use a thread to write this thing. We’ll use private messages and other stuff to get it done. We could just use Facebook chat if we really wanted to work that way. We can create a closed group with just the people working on it and use the group chat option.
I agree that we should use live chat, but I feel that it’s still too soon at this stage to really need it. As of now we’re still thinking of broad concepts and of the things we would like to do. We need to wait for those interviews for more info so that we can be loyal to the original crew’s vision. I’ve thought of a lot of story related things I think are cool, but I still don’t know things like what the blue stone does or how season 2 is supposed to end, and there is still the chance we could get a second season which would mean we wouldn’t need to do this comic anyway. Right now, we just need to be patient and use our time to thing of as many cool ideas as we can and plan ahead for when the time does come that we’re ready to do some real work. Then I’ll be ready to use live chat.
But that isn’t to say that we shouldn’t use it at all now if we want to. I’ll try to get connected some time today. Since I do plan on doing live chat I’ll make sure I’m able to use it.
I think we could do it if there is a second season, but we’d have to make it more like a bunch of random adventures or maybe fill gaps between episodes in season 1.
Is it possible for the Forever Bag to contain gimmicks for the ThunderKittens to use other than WilyKat’s flank and WilyKit’s flupe?
We’ve already seen plenty of lizards in season one and we went to both dog city and the bird city. However we have seen absolutly nothin regarding the monkeys apart from one character. I think we should probably stop by the monkey city at some point, or at least do something to show what monkey society is like.
I also have one question about the forums themeselves. Is there a way to make part of the post able to expand/collapse at will, like by clicking on something? In case we want to post anything large and don’t want to take up a ton of space when people are browsing.
