It’s awesome to see that so many of the old charcaters are being utilized again with a modern twist. Bring back Safari Joe and the Demolisher!

as for Grune’s missing tooth, I would assume that metal nunchuku make good improvised dentistry tools. Just speculation of course
The Driller really looks cool! I always loved that episode “Jackalman’s Rebellion” or something like that where he recruits Mole Man and the Driller. I hope we see more of the Driller as a rogue bad guy. I can’t wait to see what the figure look like if we get one.

I’d love to see Safari Joe again! I think that would also be a really cool way to bring back some of the original VAs by having them voice some of the side characters they voiced in the show (like having Lynne Lipton do Willa or Larry Kenney do Safari Joe or Jacklman).
On another note–anyone else thinking the Thunderkittens and Snarf got left behind at the Thundertank for this mission.
I remember that as a topic on Cheezey’s message board and some of the answers were interesting.
Someone questioning Lion-O’s orders now why does that sound familiar? Oh yeah that’s what inspired me to create Xendara.

Man, Friday cannot come soon enough as far as I’m concerned.
Also, the new design for the Driller really reminds me a lot of the robot designs used in Gurren Lagann. I love it.
So there is Thundrillium on Third Earth! I was wondering if there was, and in a cave no less. Does Third Earth also have Thundrainium? I’m eager to see if it does. 
Since Lion-O’s into technology, he’ll be drooling over Panthro’s ThunderTank and I’ll be greatly surprised if he isn’t. I personally have no problem with Panthro’s new look; the fact that he looks like the original Panthro in the flashback scene is a great nod to that character. And I too would like to see how Grune loses that one saber tooth of his; it should be good. It was wonderful to see Claudus in the battle sequence, but I’m disappointed that he had no dialogue, as it would have been exciting to hear Larry Kenney’s voice again.
And, yep, it’s the Driller, all right, in that one teaser photo. His look is unmistakeable. 
If that other teaser shot is of Hook Mountain, then doubtless we’ll be seeing SnowMeow up there. But the character design sheet of the other Third Earth inhabitants doesn’t have SnowMan, so maybe he’ll be coming along later. And since neither Hachiman nor the Warrior Maidens are on there too, it’ll probably be the same story for them as well.
Still wondering where the Thundertank comes from if the Thundercats have no tech. And if there is Thndrillium is there also Thndranium that that the Tcats will have to deal with at some point?

There wasn’t any tech in Thundera. Panthro has been out on his own for years.
That would make sense.
Plus the fact that Panthro is the freaking man and can build/create just about anything!

Anyway that definately is one badass design for him, I hope he isn’t destroyed this episode already! He was one of my fave vilains in the OS too.

Dont’ you find it funny/strange/curious that those elements/minerals/whatever they need as a source of energy and those which make them weak are still called thundrillium and thundranium? I mean, Thundera is now a kingdom in Third Earh, and that minerals migt be all over the planet, so why to call them that way? Is not like the Thunderctas colonized the whole world and named everything after their homeworld, is it?
So, if the lizard people use them, will they call the same minaral lizardium and lizardiam? Or the petalars will call them petelarium and petalariam?
Why not choosing universal, non-place related for them, as many Third Earthlings will probably know and use them?
how do you know it’s not the other way around and Thundera was named after the mineral in ancient times?
Maybe when the kingdom was first founded they had lots of Thundrillium there and so they named the kingdom after it.
Of course I’m just theorizing

My guess is Panthro was probably the one who first discovered it, and subsequently named it in this version.
Or did Panthro steal the tech from Mumm-ra?
