Our good friends over at Warner Bros. have once again provided us with teaser images from the upcoming episode of ThunderCats, set to screen this coming Friday on Cartoon Network!
Panthro finally joins the team, but his gruff demeanor intimidates Lion-O. Despite his best efforts, Panthro can’t dissuade the Cats from following him on a mission to get Thundrillium to fuel the Thundertank. Plus, a mission leads Panthro to his old nemesis: Grune!
Thanks for the sneak peek! cant wait to see panthro and grune duel it out! I wonder how panthro and lion-o relantionship will be since panthro is such a seasoned general that even though lion-o is the king he will take command instinctively.

The second one is great too with Panthro taking care of all those lizards but I didn’t expect him to disobey Lio-O and question his leadership, this is going to be interesting.[/spoiler]
Yeah I agree but with the pacing of the series I’m expecting Lion-o to prove himself and earn Panthro’s loyalty in one or two episodes or maybe even by the end of this one.
Haha it’s just that I can’t see them dragging the whole “I won’t follow your orders until you prove yourself” thing between Lion-o and Panthro for more than a couple of episodes, but who knows maybe it will last until Lion-o goes through his trials or even until the end of this season.
I like the duality between the two of them, and I’m interested to know how Panthro got left behind/captured/detained. I can see the two of them having many battles in this season.
nah! I agree w/ you. Doubt it will carry on for more than a couple of Eps. It will be kinda chaotic if in each Ep. Panthro wants to do something else or his way

I really hope they play up the Panthro vs Grune thing as an ongoing thread so they can really use it to its full potential. I’d also like to see what Tygra has to say as he was also betrayed by the guy since he was hero-worshiping him in the premiere before everything went down, I hope he’s there when we see Grune again so he can finally say something about it.
Great seeing ol’ Claudus kicking some more butt in the flashback clip!
Also, I liked seeing the teaser image of quite young Lion-O and Tygra, perhaps we’ll start getting into those flashbacks now.
Hehe when I saw that in the flashback in that clip too I knew that would get a good response, it’s cool his slightly younger self has his classic look so we kinda get both.
Wow, everything for this episode looks great. I’m surprised that they seem to confront Grune in this episode, I really thought the entire episode would be flashbacks. Tygra looks like he is happy to see Grune, eh?
