I doubt we have seen the last tigers of thundera…i’m sure in future eppys ( here’s hoping) it will be revealed that other tigers do exist..enter Bengali as a guest star… and only as a guest star..maybe recurring..but always a guest. There is only room for one tiger in the thundercats group!!

Amazing episode! Simple as that! It raises as many questions and possibilities as it answers!
The flashbacks were amazing, plenty more of these please! The emotion and the storytelling that were packed into such a relatively short time were intense! I do like that liono and tygra are starting to bond again, it would be nice to see this grow into a deep friendship now. I loved the scenes with liono and tygras mother (about time she made an appearance!) I wasn’t enamoured with the whole floating down from the heavens thing, but I suppose they had to do something different than a reed basket and a river! But to be honest this is nitpicking, and a very tiny one at that in an otherwise amazing episode!
And the tigers stuck with mumm ra and the spirits of evil!?!?!? Now that was a twist! And a damn good one! It raises a lot of possibilities!
In a way I’m also glad that bengali wasn’t in this one! As excited as I am to see him back, I think it would be more appropriate to see him either as a member of a seperate tiger clan who didn’t affilliate themselves with mumm ra later in the season or perhaps a lone tiger somewhere.
Agreed. There was already so much stuff to focus on in this episode pertaining to Tygra, having it also introduce Bengali would’ve just taken away from it. I think the ep where Bengali is introduced shouldn’t have other stuff to distract from its importance.
In “Legacy” Tygus was angry Leo and Panthera robbed him of the Warstone, after he risked his neck to retrieve it. He also told Leo the other animals would never follow him (presumably including the tigers).
I imagine that after the crash of the ark, Tygus preferred to keep serving Mumm-Ra than give his allegiance to Leo - no doubt because of pride, but also justifiable anger at being betrayed. I always sensed the rivalry between Lion-O and Tygra is a remnant of that moment in “Legacy” being played out many years later.
I know one of the Tigers I heard in the preview were voiced by Jim Cummings.
Wow, I’m doing a piece of fan-fiction where exactly this happens, only I thought of this years ago! I got it right on the first shot! 
Ok that episode was amazing. I dont have anything to add that hasn’t been said, but both artistically and narratively it was fantastic.

Excellent episode!! The writers effectively framed Tygra’s character!! Lion-O is showing more and more wisdom! No Bengali, but hey, someother time.
Oh…WOW. I was insanely impressed by this episode. The story, the animation quality…five stars. 
I loved the whole Tiger clan story…it fit perfectly with what I kind of guessed happened to the clan. (I at least figured they were outcasts ‘cause of Tygus’ loyalty to Mumm-Ra…it just made sense.) Bummer they couldn’t have stuck around.
Another bummer is that they didn’t show or name Tygra’s mom, but the common opinion is that she was a plague victim and that makes sense. Also a bummer that she wasn’t named.
LION-O’S MOMMA! FINALLY I get to see her! I was so excited you don’t even know. You don’t even know. And I’ve always named her Liana in my headcanon…which ties into an RP I do with my best friend, but I digress. I need to find/make screenshots of her. makes mental note to buy/download this ep as soon as her internet permits
Story, as I said before, was just handled beautifully and that animation WOW. Just WOW. The animation they used…the emotion on the tigers faces…WOW. There’s no other word for it. I was in awe.
Poor Tygra, though. At least he has Cheetara…and an awesome new whip!
And can I say ANCIENT FREAKING SPIRITS OF EVIL! YES! I never thought I’d be so excited to see them. (Also, never underestimate the power of love, baby.)

Wow, that was one great episode, I loved it! The animation was really beautiful and the story was so well done.
Such a sad story though, I feel for Tygra.
No Bengali but I’m actually glad he didn’t show. It would have taken away the focus from the story of Tygras background.
Seems to me like Bengali really couldn’t have been in this episode without him having died along with the rest of the Tiger clan.
New theory on Bengali: The Tigers seemed kind of a hard society seeing how they were willing to sacrifice a child and remember they used to serve Mumm-Ra. I say he’s either the same general age or a little older than Tygra. And that the Tiger clan, after seeing his strange coloring, either cast him out in fear of him being a bad omen or thought his colors made him weak or something. So he might’ve been left for dead somewhere in the mountain and found by the Snowman of Hook Mountain who either raised him or found him another home.
It’s a good theory and one that I’m leaning towards too aswell. Especially now that we’ve seen that all the tigers seem have the same coloration.
There is also a possibility that not all Tigers agreed with the ones that was shown in the episode and some went elswhere instead.
Today’s episode overall was fantastic. It was the perfect episode for Tygra and Lion-O to repair their relationship expand on Tygra’s character. And it looks like Tygra’s gonna be using a new whip from this point.
