At least the question of Lion-O’s mother has been answered and lends allot to Tygras resentment of Lion-O. I thought it a bit funny they had a Mumm-Ra doll mixed in with the toys.
yeah this episode was amazingly cool. the animation was some of the best yet. the entire story with their mother reaaally adds depth to the two brothers too.
Wow ok well this was different. The show structure was different and somehow felt a bit longer to me. The music at the end was beautiful. The story was fulfilling. All in all a nice little episode. I want more like these.
So how does Tygus and the “Flyer vehicle” play in now if they all “died”
a lil confused but mostly on track here. Great episode, this series defines greatness every episode with the way it pieces things together. It’s a lot of closure form the original series.
Wow, that was amazing. The fate of the Tiger Clan was quite sad, it’s a shame Tygra is the only one left. I do wonder what that means for a potential Bengali return, though.
Seeing the Ancient Spirits of Evil was just like when the new Mutants showed up again. It really reminded me of the OS and I’d love to see Mumm-Ra working with them in the new series.
I really have to give the series credit, the Tygra/Lion-O dynamic is probably my favorite thing about the show and it’s been handled quite well. It’s a shame they had to throw the love triangle into that storyline, but whatever. At one point the interaction between Tygra and his father was giving me House Greyjoy vibes.
I love that the whip Tygra’s father gave him resembles the OS whip. Very cool.
Is it just me or was the animation much better than usual? The close-ups of the Tigers faces showed a lot of detail and everything looked great.
Tygus was around in the past. Long before Lion-O and the gang, back when Mumm-Ra was in charge. See the episode “Legacy”.
