Such a shame the Tygra isnāt as good. I really hope they decide to re-do that head (his body is ok) Just his head that isnāt right! I like the inactive whip accessory though! Nice nod to the original cartoon.

the tower of omens playset looks awesome! i wonder what kinds of characters are going to be unique to which scale. i am sure there will inevitably be some characters that get the 6 inch treatment while only some others get the 4inch. either way, ill be buying all of them!
Iām amazed and disappointed all in the same sense. From what I was able to see, ssslithe looks like a freakin robot, and snarf looks like an alien. Tygra is weird looking. I guess I need to get use to it all but so far the classic line is the way im gonna go.

Mummy Mumm-Ra is fantastic. Awesome to see him retained that way.
Not sure how I feel about his ever living form having wings though. Heās a magician and flew with magical abilities in the old showā¦why does he need wings??? Bring back the cape!!!
Oh man I just caught the top of Gruneās āmaceā?? Looks like a baseball bat with 3 spiked sections on it. Does look pretty menacing though and more of a destruction tool than his old one.
Panthro in toy form looks much more awesome than he does in the toon. That delux one is pretty sweetā¦but cāmon plastic molded chain links? I hope that isnāt the final desicn of his weapon. It should be an actual plastic (or preferrably metal) chain link for more poseability!!!
Tygra still looks awesome in both toy and show translation. Iām thinking he will probably be my new favorite of the series (well, second to Grune anyways).
What in Godās name is that on Mumm-Raās right hand in one of the pics???
I also noticed that on the box art for the playsets and vehicles, they repeat each feature 3 times. Uhhā¦I think kids will get it the first time :):)
That Tower of Omens playset does look pretty cool though.
Finally, looks like thereās an additional claw shield you can purchase for your extendo Sword of Omens

I like both versions of Mumm-Ra overall, but the Everliving forms arms and hands are way too big! :rolleyes: Either that or his head is way too smallā¦
All in all, the reveals weāve seen have been a mixed bag for me, however there has been a lot Iāve liked (more than Iāve disliked), so overall Iām happy and excited by whats coming our way
My likes: Mumm-Ra Decayed, Mumm-Ra The Everliving, Panthro, Snarf, Lion-O, ThunderTank, Sword Of Omens and Classics Lion-O
Dislikes: Ssslithe, Tygra (the whip thing is silly, figure is ok), Cheetara (not close enough to the WB/Studio4oc cartoon images) and Classics Tygra (head sculpt is totally off)
Grune Iām unsure aboutā¦why does he have Mumm-Raās snakes symbol on his chest?
But I definately canāt wait to get my hands on the classics Lion-O and pose him with the LJN vehicles!
Damn just seen the Tower Of Omens! :o I love the concept behind that! What a great idea to have a mobile fortress. I love that it turns into a vehicle and the eye beam projecting the Thundercats symbol sounds fantastic!
toynewsei gets my vote for worst website EVER. The amount of ads on that side and the slowness and loading times are horrible. Its taken me over an hour to go through all the pictures. I tried to post a few on here but they are not up anymore
These figures and characters look amazing! The 4" figures donāt really appeal considering they donāt do the likes of Cheetara justice!
Iām not too keen on SSSlitheās model either but I do like the other figures and playsets! Also, I did see Grune wearing Mumm-Raās symbol on his chest so no doubt Jaga will have a bigger part in taking him down
