where’s kit and kat? did i miss them?

Sadly it seems you can only see them on a blurred picture on the back of lion-o’s card and one kit flying round the tower.

Yeah they just look like mock ups of what they envisage the figures of those to look like. It’s just to give the toy retail industry a rough idea of what the packaging will consist of. I bet it’s all subject to change slightly before the final release.
I’ll be at Toy Fair tomorrow. I’d be happy to let you use my photos as exclusive site photos.

Okay, time for my $0.02 on the figures that interest me.
4" Lion-O looks better and better. Definite Grab along with Mumm-Ra (mummy).
4" Mumm-Ra (TEL) Not really wowing me. The wings could use some work and I hate those holes in his chest. It looks like you’d pull a rip cord thru there. Maybe that’s how his wings flap. His hips look wider in this version.
6" Lion-O. Gotta grab him. I love the retracted claw for the sword.
6" Mumm-Ra (TEL) Much better here. I hope he comes with non-feature wings or a cape. I geeked out over the joined king cobras. Way to kick it up a notch! I also like what they did with the bandages and I hope they paint the sculpted bandages above his bracelet for the final release. His claw shield is wicked and I love that his sword is Omens like. My favorite new toy so far and I can see myself playing with him the most. Lion-O second.

I KNEW THE EURO TOYFAIR WAS JUST A TEASER!! THAT MEZCO LION-O LOOKS AMAZING!!! CORRECT COLORS, EYES, HEIGHT, HAIR, EVERYTHING IS PERFECT!!!
I really like the style & the sculpt is great…but that pose is horrible.
It looks so unnatural. If they wanted to do the sword up they should have at least had him looking up at it.
aw man im so gonna be broke, but worth it.
still can’t get over how much S-s-slithe looks like an orc from WoW or something. I’m hoping that maybe that’s just a helmet he wears in the show and perhaps we see him without it. The detail on that fig is pretty good though for a 4"
Thundercats was up against some stiff competition today from Mattel (MOTUC, Ghostbusters) and others I’m sure, but (and I’m honestly surprised I’m saying this) I think they took home the show today with this reveal!!
I might re-consider some BBTS pre-orders as I can see these possibly being tough to come by at first unless Bandai floods the shelves with them. Either way whatever I don’t get from BBTS I’ll be hounding retailers in my area night and day till the truck comes and I can sweep in and get the goods

Mezco Lion-O looks AMAZING!! :eek: Of all the ThunderCats products I’ve seen displayed at NYTF, that’s the one that’s got me most excited - I guess I’m an old-school fan first and foremost, but I just think the sculpt looks beautiful!
I’ve no idea how I can afford him or where the hell I’d display him, but I may have to get one!!
