But just because Claudus died does not mean Pumyra knows Mumm-Ra did it. In fact, exposing her to the truth could have possibly made her second-guess teaming up with Mumm-Ra in the first place.
That is true. But at the same time Mumm-Ra for all we know he could have planted some false information in her when he brought her back to life. To make sure she didn’t question her desire to kill Lion-O.

If you liked Lion-O/Pumyra you’ll definitely enjoy it, for the most part.
I’ve been banging around a theory for a couple of days now, a curse born and powered but a certain emotion can be broken by the opposite of that emotion. Tygra was able to free the Tiger clan from a curse born of pride through an act of humility, perhaps Lion-O can free Pumyra from a curse born of hatred through an act of love. Now what an “act of love” could be any number of things: attempting to sacrifice himself for her, sacrificing himself to her, or even something as simple as saying he’s sorry he wasn’t there for her when she needed him (which he never really did apologize for) and begging for her forgiveness (possibly combined with one of the previous two possibilities). I don’t think breaking the curse would be as deadly for her as it was for the Tiger clan because she was taken and revived at the moment of death rather than persisting for years after in an undead state long after her body would have naturally wasted away.

I just think he should get say that he loved her and that he’s sorry for not being there for her when she needed him the most. Maybe doing just that will break her free form Mumm-Ra’s and ASOE grip that they have on her.
I expect that before Pumyra is redeemed/revived/killed or whatever that there’s going to be a very serious showdown between her and Lion-O. And when that happens, I really want to make a music video of it using this song:
