It’s a fan thread in the 2011 series forum for the new Tygra, so let’s allow only those who are a fan of this new Tygra post here. If you’re a fan of the old Tygra but not a fan of the new one, just stay out of the thread and let those who like the new Tygra talk about that character. Comments regarding the old Tygra are welcome as well, though.

  2. Liking the new Tygra doesn’t mean you have to like everything about that character, it’s okay to post some negative comments as well, but in this thread it should be by people who overall like the new Tygra.

  3. Let’s keep the fan threads debate free. If one person says something they don’t like about the new Tygra that another person would like to debate or vice versa, then you need to debate it in another thread about that particular topic. One episode in and she’s already my favorite character (Big surprise, she was my favorite from the old show too). She is nothing I expected and yet almost everything I wanted. Strong and independent, yet tragic and huggable. It’s the first time in awhile I’ve watched an episode more than twice, and I don’t see any need to stop re-watching now.

Pumyra, I award you ALL OF MY FEELS.

Loving this character so far. I hope she stays around and continues to grow and develop along with the story.

She’s alright. IMO, can’t judge her just by this episode alone. I need more before i actually like / care about her (though in the latest episode she was awesome).

Temper. I love the temper.

The weapon. Not so much.

PS: Long time lurker here. Nice to meet y’ll thunderfans.

Welcome, enjoy your stay

Definitely loving her redesign. Her temper and attitude really make her interesting.

In the original series, Pumyra was basically a blank slate, bland. This version I’d like to know more of.

“The Pit” was a great introduction for her, I really like it when you get to first meet characters at their worst because if you can do that and still make them likable then as time goes on and we get to see them at their best you completely fall in love with them. I see Pumyra becoming a clear fan-favorite, she’s not only distinct from her 80’s incarnation, but different from the other female characters on the show. Not only that, but she’s not just “another Cheetara,” while just as strong she’s also bitter, angry, and heartbroken, and with good reason. However I also think that this was her lowest point, and now we get to see the same upswing in her we got with Lion-O after the trials without the added frustration of her making the same mistakes over and over.

Pumyra is my favourite character too.
I hope she stay with the main characters in all the episodes, not like in the OS.

I just loved how she histed at Lion-o. She sure is a feisty Thundercat than the OS lol!

I love the fact that she probably had more lines in this one episode than she had in the whole OS series..

That’s true. I have herd that she will get seven episodes devoted to her

We need to make a thread for confirming rumors and what not. Just a bunch of information and interviews that have accumalted since the premier. Somewhere to post stuff from Deviantart, tumblr, facebook and whatever. I really want to know what’s up with this Pumyra arc.

Ive heard:
-she’s getting a three episode arc
-a ton of episodes
-a few episodes.
-seven episodes

Which one is it?

Pumyra is very cool love her and glad she is in the show. Most important I hope we get a chance to get her as a action figure.

Judging from what I’ve heard about the next couple of episodes “The Curse of Ratilla” and “Birth of the Blades” should feature some heavy Pumyra action since they happen in and around PlunDarr and deal with what the slaves are doing in there. After that I can’t make any more assumptions, “The Forever Bag” appears to be another WilyTwins episode that may take place during the course of the previous two like “Survival of the Fittest” takes place during “Native Son.” I’m really hoping she sticks with the main group, even if it is for just the token line and action shot (because everyone has to take their turn at that) because I really love her and think the show would be slightly less rich without her now that she’s here.

She adds a little twist to the show because although Lion-O has proven himself to the other cats he may still have a long way to go before he proves himself to her, and so she brings conflict back into the group without making any of them look like jerks because of it. Only time will tell just how much faith she has in him and just what else is under all that fire. Maybe it’s just me, but I thought there was a sweetness under it too.

I completely agree.

I would not mind if the team stay just like it is after The pit. Just one new character. Once Lynx-o and Bengali come. One the team is to big and two can they have ten cats in the Thundertank.

The new Thundertank is humongous and if they could t really count. If they could fit 7 cats in the old one they can fit 10 in the new one. And there’s nothing that states that every character has to be in every episode.

You are true.

I kind of want to see everything the Berbils put into the new Thundertank, is it just the expanded bridge and cargo bay or does it actually have a galley for cooking and a place for them to sleep and maybe even medical facilities. I wonder because at this point the Thundertank is almost a character itself and it would be nice to get a tour.
