Think of it like Sexual Harassment. If you think you might get in trouble for a similar action at work the the Censors will classify it a sexual situation.

Since we got hints that this episode might include a flashback scene to when Lion-O and Tygra were young. I’m betting we’re going to find out that Grune had a thing for Lion-O’s mother.

My feelings exactly. I’m thinking the people who interpret her gesture as flirting are Lion-O/Cheetara ‘shippers who are screaming to see a love affair blossom between these two as fast as humanly possible. My answer to them is this: No way is Cheetara being flirty with Lion-O in the campfire scene. It would be inappropriate behavior on her part because he’s too young for her, he’s just lost his father and his kingdom, and he has this vital mission to perform so he can defeat Mumm-Ra and save Thundera and its people. Believe me, romance is the furthest thing from his mind and hers. If anybody’s flirting, or wanting to flirt, it’s Tygra, but so far he hasn’t gotten to first base with Cheetara, and we don’t know how this so-called “triangle” between Lion-O, Cheetara, and Tygra is going to play out. We’ll have to wait and see what the producers and the writing staff have decided down the road because the story is only just beginning, and things can change dramatically between now and the series’ finale.
he’s not too young for her. he’s only a year younger. there are plenty of 17/18 year old couples.
He’s two years younger, but I agree. I don’t think he’s to young physically. But he does seem a few pegs lower on the maturity scale. Well he did in the premier.
Even if Cheetara is close enough in age to Lion-O to be in a romantic relationship with him, he’s still emotionally immature and going through way too much right now to have any romantic feelings for her. It would be improper for her to take advantage of him while he’s this vulnerable and in this much pain, and she knows it. When Lion-O has matured physically and worked out all of his issues, then maybe we’ll see the sparks fly between Cheetara and him. That’s what I’m trying to say.

While she does seem much more mature than him, just going by physical age he’s not too young for her.
my mistake on her age. i was off by a year, but that’s still not too big of a difference. and there’s no such thing as “too emotionally immature to have feelings for her.” Have you ever been to a high school or known any teenagers? they can be as immature as you can imagine and still want to hook up with each other. and him wanting comfort after a tragedy is even more of a reason for him to develop feelings for her when she’s trying to help. And he was obviously attracted to her even before the tragedy.
I agree that Cheetara is probably not thinking that way right now, but I believe Lion-O is.
I just checked the Crewofomens blog. They have to change their listing for Panthro, as he is very much alive! 
Okay, Lion-O is 17 years old, just the age I imaged him to be. If Cheetara is officially 19, then yes, physically they’re close enough in age to have a relationship with each other. But as far as his maturity level and hers go, he hasn’t yet grown up enough psychologically and emotionally to be an acceptable mate for her; at this point he likes her enough as a sympathetic friend and a comrade in arms. But then there’s Tygra to consider, as he has some growing up of his own to do and this is just as much his coming-of-age story as it is Lion-O’s. If he isn’t killed off, Tygra will very likely become attractive husband material for Cheetara as Lion-O will. But in the end it will all come down as to which brother the series’ producers and writers have her chose, and one or both sets of 'shippers will have to live with the outcome.
I agree with there not being such a thing as “too emotionally immature to have feelings for her.” I know I had crushes on adults when I was younger than Lion-O. But at the moment, I think that Lion-O might be too emotionally immature for Cheetara to have romantic feelings for him (just my opinion), but that might change later in the series.
We’ll see how the love triangle plays out. I just hope it doesn’t turn into perfectly happy Lion-O/Cheetara and jealous Tygra acting like a prick. There’s so many other ways to insert a love triangle without anyone actually being the bad guy.

Just to let y’all know. I’m not shipping towards any direction. I think they should just let it be. I mean, the OS also had those moments when you thought: Oh maybe Lion-O and Cheetara will have a relationship! and then the same with Tygra, but it was just that and not any further which I think is how this should go.
Unfortunately I have learned from the comments, that the makers will play a love triangle and why I don’t like it I can explain.
I liked the Avatar show on Nickelodeon. What I didn’t like was the love triangle there. Aang, Katara and Zuko. Eventhough it wasn’t too much of it they obviously had feelings for each other and just made the story feel awkward. Don’t forget the triangle with Aang, Katara and Jet. Same thing and how immature all characters have behaved. I just don’t want to see the same childish outcomes of such love triangle story tellings.
Oh btw. Soka had his triangle too. Soka, Suki (or how thats spelled) and Tuff.
