Maybe they’ll bring in Jagara if a second season takes off and Lion-O can have himself a Cougar (pun intended)
I’ll be frank with you, people, i just don’t understand those who liked the idea of Pumyra turning traitor. Nor do i get those who think Lion-O shouldn’t have a girlfriend.
You say Lion-O should focus on the tasks at hand and i agree, but his love life wasn’t distracting him. When he had a crush on Cheetara, he didn’t let that stop him from trying to find the Spirit Stone. And when he was trying to court Pumyra, he only did so when they were in a moment of patience (They weren’t sure how to get to the next stone, so the best thing they could do was wait for a clue to come to them). When the location of the Tech Stone was revealed, Lion-O put an appropriate amount of focus on getting it. The only time Lion-O let this love problems get in his way was after he was heartbroken over Cheetara. It just seems to me that the love life itself isn’t the problem, it’s the heartbreak that clouds his judgement.
And while you guys may call it good story telling, i think it’s just needlessly torturing the Main Protagonist just for the sake of Drama. Drama can be added with hurting the main character this much. I could’ve worked with that scene between Lion-O and Pumyra at the beginning (more or less), i was even willing to work with whole “Allies from the past coming to help” plot twist as long as it didn’t seem too much like a Grand Finale. But this plot twist with Pumyra just doesn’t work for. Now i’m back in the same position i was after i read about how “Between Brothers” went: I feel sorry for the main character and am in need closure, fast.
I’m hoping that Pumyra can still be rescued and the Lion-O/Pumyra ship can be salvaged. But knowing these writers, that’s not likely to happen, especially not if i want it. More likely, like all of you said, Pumyra will either remain with Mumm-Ra or be rescued and perish afterwards. Or, say Pumyra is rescued and brought back to the group, Lion-O will be unable care for her like he once did
I’m trying to imagine a Lion-O/Willa romance, but it’s really hard.
I like what you said, but I think they will somehow salvage Pumyra’s character. It doesn’t seem right to have her remain on Mumm-Ra’s side.
Maybe she better have a dose of medicine aka Ponzi’s miracle elixir.
If they salvage her…i wonder if she’d remember all the stuff she’d done under Mumm-Ra’s/ASoE’s commands, or if her last memory would be of reaching out to Lion-o? Crap this is making me cry again. Stupid hormones.

You know I was wondering that to. One part of me thinks she will forget everything while under his control while the other part thinks she wont.
I wonder if she’ll have Trials too? Maybe Jaga could comfort her…or Lion-o’s mommy could offer her advice.
I’m split on that as well. It would be much better in Lion-O’s case if a medium was found between them, where she only remembered the parts where she was actually herself and not controlled by the ASOE.
If she does forget everything that had happened while under Mumm-Ra control. I think it would easier for Lion-O to tell her what happened and why.
Yeah…that would be cool…i wonder though, how the others would respond? And she could get some flashbacks…overall though, if she kept all the memories it would help her grow faster. Though i was wondering…do you think she harbored a crush on Lion-o before Thundera fell? She seemed to expect him to specifically come to save her…maybe they were childhood friends?
I don’t know. Maybe they were. maybe she just had a little crush on him do to his power. I hope they do redeem her somehow and death doesn’t immediately follow.
I think the others would be a little uneasy like when she first joined but warm up to her a little faster. And has for her having crush on Lion-O before Thundera fell that would make for a interesting plot twist. But like I said in a different thread. Mumm-Ra could have planted false information or memory’s into her to make sure she didn’t question her desire to kill Lion-O.
I agree, but I think that false information would fade if she only remebered when she was alive and when she was acting like her true self after she died (the baby frog-bird, end of “Birth of the Blades”, etc.).
I can see your point about the false information. But for the Memory if Mumm-Ra removed her childhood memory. It then would be up the Lion-O to help her remember who she was.

Hopefully the flashbacks would be better than the Tygra/Cheetara ones we were shown. I still think those needed a lot of work.
Hey, at least they’re a couple now. I enjoy seeing them being in a relationship.
It would be better if they would give Cheetara some more depth outside of the T/C thing…and some of other scenes of them as kids. I like Childhood Romances to get lots of backstory. Tygra’s gotten a lot more than that to prove he loves her.
