Agreed Maybe we could have a flash back to were they were playing together as kids or something. While Claudus and Pumyra’s dad are in the background watching them play and talking about there future?
I don’t think there’s much to say after she joined the clerics. I’m assuming Tygra never got to talk to her personally again until after the fall of Thundera.

You’re probably right…but she did say how Tygra was “always” in Lion-o’s shadow and some other stuff…
i guess i’m just too used to anime where they explain this stuff in detail.
I think she just got that from her perspective on the brothers’ relationship from a distance.
If Lion-O manages to save Pumyra it’ll be interesting to see where their relationship goes. She may be self-conscious and afraid of being with him because of her manipulation and betrayal claiming it wasn’t real only for Lion-O to insist that his feelings for her were and still are real and he will continue to care for her no matter what happens.
I agree. If she does get redeemed, I think we’ll see a much more reserved, quiet and reserved Pumyra. She’ll be nervous around the cats and will be questioning Lion-O’s true feelings for her a lot.
Isn’t Pumyra technically dead? If so, wouldn’t a relationship with her be a little awkward?

I thought that Lion-O…oh, well. Here’s hoping that Pumyra will treat Lion-O right…and not kiss Mumm-Ra anymore 
The Tiger Clan were undead already, they were all consumed by the plague long before we met them, but Pumyra was revived at the moment of her death by Mumm-Ra. I think she would survive breaking the spell that binds her to him (especially if the Spirit Stone decides to get involved).
I don’t think it needs any more explanation. She’s a cleric, why wouldnt she devote some measure of attention to both Princes? Then there’s the flower incident. I could imagine she would be curious about the boy who helped her achieve her dream, wouldnt you?
As for her and Tygra never talking after that incident, not too sure about that. In that same episode he says he has ‘always been invisible to her’ or no wonder she never saw him . Something like that, I can’t remember the exact quote. To me, that sounds like they did have more than just the one run in. Like Tygra probably tried to “woo” her, but he never got the message across.
Personally I don’t see anything “wrong” with the flash backs. We got to see more of Cheetara and we learned about her introduction into the Clericy. We also got to see how desperate she was to get in, and we learned that she came from “nothing” and that she had “no one”. Unfortunately we have yet to dive into that more, but it would be nice to expand on where she came from and how it continues to shape who she is today.
As for the romance, from what I can tell its not the flash back people have a problem with. The flashback could have set up a foundation for a really interesting story. It was that we never got to see it expanded on in present time before she made her choice.
That’s what i’m really wanting…i mean, we have Tygra’s backstory, and his side, but Cheetara hasn’t really gotten anything besides her explanation of the flashback. If we do get some more flashbacks that expanded on it that would be nice. 
It’s just i like having more info on my ships.
Is there any word on how the show’s doing in Japan?
Oh, yeah, she’ll totally have her own trial. I like to think it’d be a re-enactment of the Pit, complete with Trial!Lion-O and reversed roles, where Pumyra needs to control her anger.
I have no idea what that last line did, but it just reminded me of AtLA, in tBRpt2, where that old prisoner was like “Forget about controlling my anger - let’s riot!”
Lion-O was the one getting pummelled in the pit, but in the Trial!Pit, it will be Pumyra, until she remembers what Lion-O did to convince her otherwise and does the same.

As far as this Lion-O/Willa romance theory goes, if it does happen, i foresee two kinks the relationship; 1.) Naturally, Lion-O’s going to be a bit hesitant to open his heart up again after having it broken once and ripped and stomped on another time. 2.) If Willa is Ms. Right for Lion-O, she might find herself conflicted about having feelings for a Cat (she may have a desire to bear children one day, and she knows Lion-O will never be able to provide her with any)
I’m quite the skeptic to the Lion-O/Willa romance.
Unless Willa is a Cat i’m not into it. I don’t support Bestiality. Plus, Pumyra still has a chance to be saved/redeemed. And he loves her.
Agreed and I just don’t see Willa fitting into the New Series that will maybe for one episode but nothing more. And I agree with you on the second part has will.
While I do agree that a human Willa shouldn’t be Lion-O’s love interest, I wouldn’t really call a romance between them bestiality. The Cats are humanoid and sentient after all, and interspecies romance has worked in plenty of other series.
I did a little math, and I figured that Lion-O and Pumyra couldn’t have known each other for little more than a week. A day in The Pit, two days to get to Mount Plundarr, a day spent in Mount Plundarr freeing the slaves and dealing with the Sword of Plundarr, about three days to deal with Mumm-Ra and getting back to Dog City, a day to deal with the Soul Sever, and about a couple days to rebuild the Feliner and get up to Avista. That’s about ten days or so for them to get as close as they did. Make what you will of that.
I’m still going to support Lion/Pumyra, but of course I’m not expecting it to come easy. Here’s what I think could happen: Lion-O’s going to keep holding out for Pumyra despite her cruel betrayal. He’ll be in denial that she’s all evil, but he’ll also deny that he’s still in love with her. There will come a moment where he has a chance to attack or kill her, but hesitates and allows her to get away or cause some damage. The other Cats might call Lion-O out on his feelings for her getting in the way, and he has to accept that Pumyra is evil. Lion-O vows to not show Pumyra any mercy next time they meet.
But then it will be revealed to the audience that Pumyra really is under some kind of spell, and she almost broke out of it when Lion-O did show her mercy. The next time they meet, Pumyra and Lion-O have an epic showdown, and Lion-O keeps to his promise to not hold back, defeating her.
Lion-O gets his chance to end Pumyra once and for all, but the Sword of Omens stops obeying him before he can do so. Lion-O uses Sight Beyond Sight to see the spell Pumyra is under (maybe as chains wrapped around her or puppet strings or something cool like that). The Spirit Stone begins to respond, and he uses it to enter Pumyra’s soul. Lion-O finds the damage done to her and does his best to heal it, maybe by talking to Pumyra’s soul itself.
However, Lion-O is attacked by the ASOE, and his soul is put into jeopardy. But Pumyra can see into Lion-O’s soul as well, able to see how sincere he was about everything he said to her, and how much he still loves her despite vowing to stop her for good. Pumyra breaks free and saves Lion-O from having his soul devoured by the spirits, and the power of their love is able to drive the ASOE out of their souls. With Pumyra now free and cured, she and Lion-O decide to try to start over and rekindle their relationship.
That’s just my little future fan fic thing.
