Well, speaking for myself, if I find the idea of Lion-O having a love interest appealling, it’s not for the sake of “having everyone pair up with someone”, but because, since the OS, I’ve always seen Lion-O in the same heroic mold I see John Carter, Namor, Black Bolt, Thor, and Prince Valiant, and I wouldn’t mind seeing Lion-O displaying that same type of romanticism those characters showcased.
IF he get’s the girl when the show is over i’m all for it. Right now it would just be in his way, also i dont want two love duos in the small party they are. Then we are gonna get more couple threads like “Who’s the best couple” and some fan war about who’s more cute, sexy blablablablabla.
He has other things to worry about.

I agree with Rizefall, but I don’t think we should have to wait that long. A lot of people are suggesting Pumyra and Bengali will get together, but honestly if Bengali doesn’t show up in the NS before Pumyra, I think something between her and Lion-O will form. I’m not saying it absolutely will or it should, but it seems logical.
I guess we’ll have to wait until “The Pit” to find out.

If this is a problem, then there's always the possibility Lion-O will "connect" with someone who [B]isn't[/B] in the small group. Namely; someone like Willa, Nayda, or someone else.
For now, ofcourse, we'll just have to wait and see what unfolds in "The Pit".

The problem is that everyone WANTS him to connect. Why? We already have a relationship going. Why need another when we can just explore theirs? If you wanna explore relationships go watch FRIENDS, or ONE TREE HILL. The relationship we have between Cheetara and Tygra (if he has accepted it all we dont know) still effects him. IF Pumyra comes and he for some reason find her appealing. Would he really “GO FOR IT”? He just got pushed aside by Cheetara who he thought he could trust and now he’s gonna go for a total stranger?
another problem is when you talk about the relationship in this show you talk about in a way like it’s gonna happen instantaneously. That’s why it’s boring and annoying to see anyone mention this at all, at least come up with some sort of backstory as to WHY lion-o would hook up with (for us) a total stranger so you have something to discuss about. Not just just doing something like this:

Do you get it? I dont mean to offend anyone but as much as we have discussed the origins of The Sword of Omens, why can’t you make a new thread “Future potential couples” and have some GOOD discussion like we have with other things? That way, even I would love to brainstorm.

…and that is great for Tygra and Cheetara, and if the writers want to continue with Lion-O brooding over their relationship, well, it could be interesting, but we’ll see.

Well nothing i did type was aimed at YOU per say. But all who just say “I WANT LION-O TO BANG THIS CAT.. OR OR… THIS DOG.. NO WAIT PUMYRA CAN BE WITH BENGALI.. OR BENGALI CAN BANG LION-O”. Annoying, simple, and very BORING. Try to make some serious discussion with it. AT least it makes it worthwhile and somewat fun.

And as i get attacked from our favorite admin again i state this: I think you couple lovers should discuss the couples story MORE then just PAIRING them up. That way it’s more interesting and others can join in the brainstorming aswell.
