I’d like to think that if and when Lion-O and Pumyra get together (which seems to be more and more likely after each episode) that they’ll keep their relationship a secret from the other cats, at least for a little while. Lion-O probably wouldn’t want to deal with his brother’s or Panthro’s teasing, and who knows how Cheetara would react. Plus it would just be more fun that way. For them and us.
I agree. I’m not really sure what their intentions would be for doing so, though. I guess so the others don’t criticize them, especially Lion-O. I have a feeling that if they do keep it private, the kittens will find a way to expose it.
Will it really be that surprising to them? I mean, wasn’t Cheetara present when Pumyra kissed Lion-O when fighting the monster?
Cheetara also kissed Lion-O in the same place, she might not think it means anything more than that, especially if they decide to keep things low-key for a bit.
Yeah but Cheetara kissed Lion-O for good luck. I’m sure Pumyra’s intentions were for a little more than gratitude (seeing how she flirted with him a few episodes ago) but Cheetara probably didn’t care too much about it. She seems to be between Panthro, who was somewhat happy for Lion-O pursuing Pumyra, and Tygra, who thought it was a lost cause, when it comes to skepticism.
I think Cheetara will try to protect Lion-O from Pumyra. Pumyra, on the other hand, will try to protect Lion-O from Cheetara. I don’t know if it will lead to any huge quarrels but Cheetara’s duty is to protect him and Pumyra seems like she could get a tad bit possessive (nothing too extreme, though).
I can picture what that exchange would be like:
I’m guessing Cheetara would say something about a whip in return, and an epic catfight followed by confusion between Lion-O and Tygra would ensue!!!

Or maybe Lion-O diffuses the situation by telling everyone to mind their own damn business. Panthro could even say something like “FINALLY! Someone said it!”
EDIT: Just how many times has Lion-O saved Pumyra anyway? There should be a counter or something.
Followed by a confession scene where Lion-O tells Pumyra what really happened between him and Cheetara. It’s going to have to take place eventually, but I think she’d take it well.
A possible rebuttal:
I don’t think Cheetara would win if she tried to say anything about Pumyra’s relationship with Lion-O, even with how it is now.
