Definitely respectfully disagree, the way he looked at her after he said be careful suggested otherwise, so much in fact both Pumyra and Tygra noticed and the defensive way he sputtered he was over it, if someone was truly over it it would have been less a big deal to say it, just saying I know his feelings still linger perhaps not as strongly bit they are there I hope he does get totally over it soon though I hope the triangle thing is being dissolved.

I saw that too and I’m glad Dan confirmed my theories on their change of heart in regards to tech.
I’ve actually really liked this aspect. For Lion-O, his interest in technology was basically a childish fancy. He’s a dreamy idealist and he was fascinated, but then he recoiled from it when the first application he saw conflicted with those ideals.
Tygra, on the other hand, is a pragmatist, so he had no use for technology or thoughts of it until it was in his hands and had a practical application. I also really like the way it intersects with OS!Tygra being a scientist.
re: Lion-O and Pumyra
I don’t really have a problem with him moving on to Pumyra and I don’t necessarily think it renders her a consolation prize. It has been quite a few episodes since the Tygra/Cheetara thing went and down and Lion-O clearly did mostly deal with it throughout The Trials of Lion-O. Also, he has a very distinct and different relationship with Pumyra than Cheetara and they’re obviously on their own little journey. I don’t think they’ll be making out any time soon because he definitely does have a lingering attraction to Cheetara, but I don’t see a problem with the interest clearly being there.
As far as it making him look like a horny teenager… well, I honestly think he kind of is? I mean, he’s 17. I always got the impression that Cheetara was basically his first Big Crush. You have to remember that in the pilot no one thought twice about him oogling random women, also the moment he met Cheetara – an attractive woman – he immediately started trying to put on a more “masculine” voice, etc. to impress her. Then in Legacy, he seemed pretty excited to be making out with Panthera all the time – with not a single thought of how it might conflict with his feelings for Cheetara – and even said “At least I have a girlfriend!” which I think puts his priorities there a bit more into perspective. And even notice that majority of his reaction to Tygra/Cheetara wasn’t broken-hearted hurt feelings, but anger and resentment because he felt humiliated and made a fool of.
It’s not that I think he didn’t care about Cheetara specifically. He obviously did and does, but I also don’t think we were ever meant to perceive it as a sanctified love of a lifetime. More like: he’s 17, she’s hot, and she’s really nice to him so he thinks he has a chance. Doesn’t mean his feelings weren’t genuine, just not world-shaking.
Watch his expression after saying it as he watches them leave, its not concern that paints his expression and its obvious. We can agree that Lion is trying hard to be over it and will but I think he’s not all the way there yet.
Will she really? Make the move on THE KING himself? I doubt it, maybe later when “her status” has changed. Now she probably still feel like a slave, gladiator cause she has been like that for so long. Being this “low level garbage” the probably think Lion-O does not want her cause of that or something simliar.
After what I’ve seen in “Birth of the Blades” I think maybe Lion-O isn’t going to be quite as clueless to Pumyra’s affections. He clearly has no trouble with her addressing him as an equal, and even looks pleased when she caresses his face. He may even ask her about “moving on” with him.
I to that’s how he’ll present the relationship to her, by saying he’s “moving on” with her. In other words, I agree. I hope they do develop a relationship so Lion-O can be 100% over Cheetara.
