I want Lion-O to have friends more than lovers. I want all of the cats to be friends, or at least comrades. I want to see more of Third-earth too. For these reasons, I really loved Survival of the Fittest. The nature, the interaction, the backstory…
And I’ve found that my big problem with Pumyra is her highly predictable characterization. After The Pit she seemed to ease up, but she just kept up the attitude and I have the feeling that she is not going to surprise me.
I think, lately, I’m just sad about the show’s breakneck pacing. I’ve been watching Wakfu and now I have to come to terms with the fact I shall likely not find such quality in story-telling anytime soon.
There’s a reason it’s called fan fiction. Fans can write how they would like to see things go. They can give different perspectives.
Plus, it’s a way for potential writers to develop their skill.
Fans will be fans. Some will agree with the direction of a show/movie/book/cartoon/et cetera and some won’t.

What…? I was confused about a super common characterization I’ve seen through a bunch of fic, but don’t understand. We had a discussion trying to figure out where it came from and in the process I acknowledged like four different times that everyone writes fic their own way for their own reasons.
I hardly think saying that I don’t get a particular characterization constitutes “ripping and bashing on fanfics.”
So anyone else thinking Lion-O wouldn’t have reacted so severely if any other cat besides Pumyra was in danger (except maybe one of the kittens)?
I’m sure he would, although I’m not sure he would put up with being caressed on the face like that by anyone other than the kittens. With Panthro and Tygra it would just be weird and/or creepy, and with Cheetara after everything that’s happened between them it would be awkward.
