Question is, why did Jaga tell Lion-o to look for the Flame to forge the sword again, and didn’t tell him to look for a missing Thunderian blacksmith who holds the hammer of Thudnera and is with two fellow Thunderians who are missing in some island and won’t ask for a price, neither put his life in danger?
Bad writing? lol I always assumed that Jaga, while he is a wise ghost, wasn’t omniscient. So when he told Lion-O about those three on the island, he had just found out about them. This would help explain why he seems to withhold information; he didn’t say some things in earlier episodes because he didn’t know. Jaga’s ghost could have been invisible and floating around Third Earth checking stuff out, and then he’d float back to Lion-O when he was in danger or needed advice. Or something like that.

I always thought it was unknown whether or not the hammer could actually repair the sword, wasn’t it like a trial and error? Its been so long since I’ve seen that episode.
I like the idea that Pumyra would be like a shy girl idea, also, I think she should be at least 14 or 15 and perhaps adopted by people of another species who found her as a baby and taught her how to use herbs to help the sick and wounded. She’s self-taught when using her whipcord since her adopted people are mostly healers.
I’m glad people know that her natural talent is leaping, instead of limited super-speed in comparison to Cheetara because of that one episode where she temporarily turned into a beam of light for cat-like agility effect which formed like an arch which showed that she was up in the air for a second.
Bengali, as a blacksmith, could perhaps be part of a family bloodline who by duty solely holds the secret of the process that created the Sword of Omens, which not even the lord of the Thundercats has because of how important and dangerous in enemy hands the secret process is, and reveals that a normal sword couldn’t handle the kind of stress that the Eye of Thundara power produces. In other words, a normal sword would break.
Small detail but am I the only one who remebers Bengali’s stripes being a dark blue as oppose to black (I’m aware black would make far more sense, but hey it’s thundercts! lol). If not in the cartoon it could just be my memory from 1 of the annuals I had as a kid that had profile pictures of them all (really wish I still had them, they were prob the best pics I ever saw!)

Mount Thundera
I really hope Pumyra will appear in the “new alliances” episode, Mike jelenic says they are really going to focus on her and will have several episodes devoted to her, unlike the original series where they ignore her completely!!! And I really hope in new alliances she is part of clan that lives up on the highest mountains of third earth called the “mountain lions” who did not live in Thundera and chose to migrate alone at the time the cats fell on third earth in the episode “legacy” cause the puma has many names if you think about it such as the cougar, mountain cat or the mountain lion they are all the same animal, and the clan are expert hunters who know all about the art of healing, lion-o gets injured and pumyra meets with them and heals him and takes them up to mountains of third earth where the cats make a new alliance with the clan, and I really hope Pumyra becomes a new love interest for lion-o and someday his future queen cause she is a “mountain lion”
The sword broke because Lion-O attacked Tygra with the sword blindly. BTW anyone have an idea what the story behind the curse is?
Lynx-O: I for sure want him to be a blind, but very skilled and with paranormal senses, sage-like character. Giving him some kind of relation to Jaga would be interesting, but not needed. And, like in the original, they should keep him calm and composed even in the most dangerous situations.
Pumyra: Her design should be more anime-inspired, with long brown hair (with the white stripe of course) I can see her being caring and motherly, and still know all her medical tricks from the OS, but not be utterly spineless. Parroting others, she should be Lion-O’s love interest, it would be very… well, interesting 
Bengali: Keep him as a blacksmith? Definitely. Keep his gravelly voice, short temper and combative nature? Of course. But his hammer has a lot of room for improvement, especially with the violence restrictions on cartoons being lifted. Making it an extendable warhammer, akin to the Sword Of Omens, would be interesting.
Pumyra should appear near the beginning of the new episodes, and join the team at the end of the first 4. Bengali should follow suit, maybe joining in “The Birth Of Blades” due to him being a blacksmith. They could throw in a plot-twist and have Bengali forge the Sword Of Plundarr 
After all, Bengali did look kind of evil on the group T-shirt and on the Season 2 Volume 1 DVD cover. Lynx-O should reappear when Pumyra is on the team, and she should nurse him back to health. Of course, since he’s the Thunderian general, the other ThunderCats will be shocked, honored, and definitely pleased to see their general alive and to have him work with them.
Sword of Plunn-dar has already been forged. Mumm-Ra used it in Legacy.

No problem, I have the 6 inch 2011 Mumm-Ra figure and he comes with the sword, so I knew it would show up sooner or later

Anyway, even if it was that way, Jaga could have sent Lion-o and Tygra with the Flame, and then say “oh, by the way, that reminds me, there’s a fellow blacksmith Thunderian in an island with 2 other Thunderians…”
Jaga wasn’t omniscient. He was a ghost not a god. He didn’t know about the other Thunderians then.
How did he learn about them later then?

Maybe it’s just wishful thinking, but here’s how i see it
Ben-Gali - Constantly trying to win over Tygra due to a “Tiger thing”, but instead ends up annoying him to no end. Also has a strong bond with the Thunderkittens
Pumyra - Gets along well with Cheetara and slowly starts to fall for Lion-O more and more
Lynx-O - Issues with Panthro, nuff said
I see an awful lot of talk about these three and zero talk about Snarfer!
Snarf himself is unbearably cute in the new cartoon, so I can only imagine how adorable a younger, smaller (non-talking!!) Snarfer would be.
