Yeah, gotta love that a common word in our word is a swear word in this new Thundercats series. It pretty much gets a small laught out of me to see them swear with it. 
This one the artist tried to redesign it to the new show look. He did a good job.

I’m picturing Orlando Bloom from Pirates of the Carribean for some odd reason. 
I don’t think I’d like the idea that it has similar origins to the Sword of Omens but I like the idea of it being passed down through generations of his family.
Grune did say that Lynx-O had less experience than him and Panthro - I’m guessing he’s either older or right around the same age. He looked older to me.

He doesn’t use an instrument. His comment is that he could smell them from far away. A smelling instrument among a race of people without technology? We don’t even have smellevision.

Considering she’s only 8, I’m not sure how well that could explore that. Kit is an interesting mix in that she displays a level of feminity, yet she eats and belches like her twin brother. It would be cute though for her to develop a crush on at least one of the guys, I think Lion-O would make the most sense. I think Tygra might seem a little too fatherly for her to like in that way and Panthro’s just too old.

So TR already posted my theory for Pumyra. Here is my expanded theory on all 3…
Lynx-O we already know is a Military General. My theory is that when he flees, he flees with Bengali. So I guess that Bengali is either 1) In the military and so he follows Lynx-O’s command as such, 2) A normal citizen fleeing, or 3) A youth. They end up either in the Berbil village of with a couple lost Berbils out in the world somewhere and find refuge with them.
I would actually prefer Bengali to be a youth, maybe around 15 years old. Moody and with a chip on his shoulder, Bengali has benefitted greatly from the wisdom and guidance received from Lynx-O but when our heroes come into the picture, he suddenly feels displaced with ThunderCats more powerful than him and no longer feeling his usefulness. Perhaps Tygra can then relate more with Bengali as Tygra suffered through his own emotional turmoil with his father’s murder and younger brother he felt wasn’t fit to lead being made king. Perhaps then the “Brothers” comment that Tygra made in the OS will take on a new meaning as the two of them in this series actually develop a brother-like relationship.
I don’t know if I’d have them come across Bengali and Lynx-O first or Pumyra. I would say probably the boys and then when the meet Pumyra, who I would put to be about the same age as Lion-O or maybe a year younger, Bengali and Lion-O are both attracted, and maybe Tygra.
I would make her a capable warrior but still be able to hold her feminitiy. Which I think Cheetara does as well. Cheetara wouldn’t be wearing what she wears if she wasn’t feminine.
Anyway, there’s my suggestive theory. I wonder if they’ll wait until the start of season 2 for us to meet them, similar to the OS.
His introduction to the show; I mean, him being introduced into the show.
About Wilykit’s fminity, that’s my point precisely. She benchs like his brother, but when she falls in love (or devlops a crush, whatever), she tries to act more like a lady… maybe even to a “ridicule” extreme. That would be interesting because it can create tension with Wilykat as she starts calling him “a kid”, and also he mocks her for her attitude… her relationship with Pumyra and Cheetara will then turn in that she can turn into one of them for advice, and be jealous of the other one (the one female se thinks the one male she likes is attracted to).
And developing a brotherly bond between Tygra and Bengali would be interesting if they also make Lion-o realize how much he likes his brother and gets jealous of his relationship with Bengali, then the real “brothers” (because they reall aren’t) get closer.
Oddly enough, in my redesigns I did last year I drew Pumyra with a crossbow and Bengali with an Axe. I’ll look for a pick.

I meant to say that, for me, he was the only new TC worthy of having been introduced to the show, the only good introduction to the show in th 2nd season.
I’m confused, because like balgus said, they were all introduced together. I don’t think Lynx-O had a better introduction. Hmm… I rather liked Bengali right from the start. He was kind of quiet, not a warrior, then he was made a ThunderCat at he had a change in his mentality.
I liked him too. He had a bit of a temper on him which I liked. 
Ok, I meant to say he was the only one I welcomed, th only one Ibarely cared about, the only one I think could have been since the beginning and there would have been no need for the other 2… how else could I put it?
Pumyra and Bengali as a married couple is highly possible and highly desireable. Tygra as their long-lost son? No, not possible because then Tygra would have some of Pumyra’s own markings and some of Bengali’s colorings. I’d rather Bengali was the long-lost brother Tygra never knew he had.

I took a close look at that moment. The Cat you’re taking about isn’t white; he or she appears to be a light tan with white circles around the eyes. So it isn’t Bengali.
I like the redesign of Pumyra that Ragnak posted the most out of all the fan designs I’ve seen of her. I really think she should have a tail too, with a white tip at the end. The Kittens’ tails are supposed to help with their balance and make them more agile, and Pumyra was supposed to be one of the most agile ThunderCats.
Bengali’s hammer always stood out to me because of its design. Most of the other ThunderCat weapons were fairly plain looking, except for the Sword of Omens. Tygra and Panthro’s weapons were cool looking, but Bengali’s hammer seemed to have the most detail, making it look more special that it probably should have been. Maybe he or his blacksmith master had it specially made, if it doesn’t turn out to be some kind of legendary weapon. I do like the idea of it being the tool which was used to forge the Sword of Omens. Bengali was one of the only people able to repair the sword in the OS, and it’s either because he’s the greatest blacksmith ever or because the hammer has special properties.
Maybe Bengali could still have the Hammer of Thundera, but not get it for a while. Like maybe they find it at one of the places they look for the Book of Omens or the Stones.
If I remember correctly Bengali stated in the OS that the secret of the metal that forged the sword had been passed down in his family. Same of the hammer. His hammer had been the hammer that actually forged the sword.
Here’s the exact quote you are referring too…
Bengali: A Thunderian Blacksmith forged that mighty blade, Lion-O. Only another smith, like me, would know the secrets of its alloys.
Lion-O: It’s my guess there are some secrets in that hammer, too.
So he didn’t say it was a secret passed down in his family, in fact, I don’t recall there ever being any mention to Bengali’s family.
It was rather convenient that Bengali could reforge the sword when in the first season, Jaga stated after the sword broke when Lion-O unknowingly fought Tygra that only starfire could reforge the sword and that he had to take it into a volcano.
Anyway.
And when the sword first broke Lion-O was devastated and when it broke again in Mumm-ra lives he kinda under reacted.
Exactly. It’s like the second time it broke, he didn’t care.
I don’t think Lion-O had much time to show a reaction, since his sword was broken at the end of the episode, but got repaired at the beginning of the next by Bengali. It was just to demonstrate how strong Tug Mug was.
Bengali didn’t have the hammer before he joined the ThunderCats, so I guess he made it himself. Because I didn’t see his introduction episodes, I always assumed he always had it. Bengali must have made the hammer himself. For the new series, I think it would make things a lot easier to understand if it was a legendary tool/weapon similar to the Sword of Omens, though not quite as powerful. That, or they just leave it as a normal war hammer with a cool design.
Maybe instead of it being passed down through a clan, the secret to forging the metal of the Sword of Omens is just passed down from master to apprentice, going back to the one who first forged it. Bengali can just be the next apprentice in line, and not necessarily have to be related.
