It should be for the next 26. They recorded all the first season before the premiere had even aired.

Unfortunately, FaceBook is telling me that this content is unavailable. However, in light of this, I am happy hearing that our cast is back in the recording studio, lending their vocal talents for the next season. Think of it as a glorified script-reading. This also means we’ll probably be seeing season two sometime next year, as most traditionally animated shows take an average of six to eight months to animate.
I should certainly hope so! As I said before, it takes six to eight months for ONE episode to be fully animated. The recording process is usually done primarily, and later sent to the animation crew, for them to start lipsynching and have an idea of what facial expressions to use during the animation process.
Quarterlooping is rare in animation and is often not used because the final product is inorganic. For those who don’t know, quarterlooping is when the animation is done first, and dubbed during the animation’s playback. However, this technique is quite common with animated shows that are being translated and dubbed in another language.
ThundercatsNOW reposted the image on their twitter, so maybe the rest of you can see it there. It’s just them in the studio though. Matt confirmed that it’s Madeline Hall, Robin Atkin Downes, and Will Friedle (with the beard lol).
