I don’t have a link, but I thought it was mentioned by someone that once the script is finished it takes about three weeks to a month to get an episode finished and in the can.

It takes months for them to finish an episode, but they work on multiple episodes at once. I asked that on Tumblr once.

Dan told me once it takes them about 3 weeks or so to flesh out a story and script for each episode and I remember somewhere else (but can’t remember where) they said it takes about 5 months or so for each episode. Might’ve been during one of the live chats they used to have.

MOTU didn’t have popular social media like twitter and facebook back then, to hear fans outcry for more episodes/toys…if it did it maybe still be on the air!
