I don’t really have any beyond my favorite and least favorite. My favorite is Native Son, for reasons stated in above replies. My least favorite is a tie between Berbils and Survival of the Fittest. I never liked the berbils nor found them even the slightest bit “cute.” They always seemed rather annoying to me in the OS and the NS did not change my mind about them. The twins’ backstory was interesting, but the episode was highly uneventful. In other words, it was a necessary episode, but it wasn’t very interesting to me.
Wolverine and the X-Men was a victim of Marvel not being able to work out a financing deal with their financing partner. Meaning popular or not, they didn’t have the cash to make it.
Anyway I think someone has to be kinda thick headed to not show a little positivity over the Art Director of the show specifically saying it’s not canceled.
As said before, I don’t think he’ll stop being skeptical until the show is far into its second season.

To add to your point, why would CN be skeptical of this series when they haven’t done a very good job promoting it? The toys/tv series needs to stand on its own…example, Avatar: TLAB series did very well without a successful toyline. I looked on a few sites and very few people who posted comments based on weekly previews of TCats said they want better action choreography…to be honest the Legend of Korra seems kinda boring so far but the action scenes are epic!

Okay lets take these points, because they are nothing to base any kind of speculation that the second season won’t happen on.
First point, where is the official line that they are sceptical now? If I remember right was it Dan Norton who initially said that? That was long before the ratings doubled and Thundercats ratings came out showing that the Thundercats was doing as well as or BETTER than some of CNs better promoted shows. So I seriously doubt they are skeptical now, even if they were once. And since you take the technical hearsay of CN being ‘sceptical’ as gospel, take the much more recent technical hearsay of the Art Director of the show very specifically stating it’s NOT canceled, they are having a break between seasons as gospel instead.
Second, who says the toys are in Limbo? Show me the evidence? Toy sales seem to be doing well. Here in the UK we are still waiting for the release of wave 2 in Autumn (they wont release a third wave before the second one is released will they?!?!) so once they are released, then we’ll just have to wait for the third wave to be released. Now I see your point on the MOTU rerelease and I agree totally that Bandai has ****ed up with the management and distribution of the toys, but that doesn’t mean they won’t continue with it. So bring on wave 2 in the UK, and then REALLY bring on the wave 3 previews!!!

I can’t speak for how things are in the UK, but in the States there is no product being sent to stores. You can see that in any of the “Fate of the toy line” threads in any Thundercats forums. Stores aren’t getting replenished on the first wave or getting the second wave.

Just because it has been ordered it doesn’t mean that it’s a certainty. CN could pull the rug out from under our feet at any moment until production actually begins.
I would love for this show to move to the CW and be shown in a prime time slot. That way TPTB can go no-holds-barred with the series. There’s so much potential with this show and it’s a shame that it’s rather constrained.
Plus the nintendo ds game comes out in august so that says something as well.

Matthew mercer,my mistake, I apologise for my misquote. I confused the name, but my point remains the same. A much more recent quote states it is NOT cancelled. That in itself gives much more credence to remaining positive than negative. And fair enough I can’t speak for the states but over here the toy line seems to be doing extremely well. At the very least as good as other toy lines on the same shelves that are on clearance a lot more often but have no chance of being cancelled anytime soon (star wars, ben 10, power rangers), so there is no reason to believe Thundercats will be either. Now as for CN, why would they pull the plug? They have NO reason to. I know CN is a pile of mismanaged cack at the moment with the replacing of their CO and a dozen other things, but still, Thundercats is amongst its best rated shows and is doing better than many others. They’ve shown enough confidence in Thundercats to put it in its much vaunted saturday morning slot and seen already respectable ratings double. They have NO reason to cancel it on that basis alone. And if they weren’t so incompetent at management and promotion, Thundercats could be its single biggest franchise, even more endemic than ben bloody 10 which is EVERYWHERE!

I couldn’t possibly interpret the inner workings of corporate decisions. Good shows get cancelled all the time.

I think we can all agree on that. 
How often do “hiatus” shows get continued?.. personally I’m not very optimistic here :/.
(that is after the legend of the seeker fiasco, at the time the only real fantasy series and really great, then just canned even though the producers left all the options open and the actors gave all sorts of hopeful signals, which caused a lot of fan reaction to keep it going, all for naught)
That is very true, and don’t get me wrong I completely see where you are coming from, I agree these corporations can be complete idiots sometimes when it comes to decisions like this, but all I’m saying is all the signs at the moment are positive, so untill they do drop a huge grenade in the works, if they ever do, I think its much better to assume and hope things will continue into a second series at least.

Quite often actually. I can think of many long running shows that regularly go on hiatus between seasons and then return after a break.

Yeah sorry but after the first few episodes Legend of the Seeker sucked. It deviated WAY too much from the source material. Kahlan wasn’t even the Mother Confessor in the stupid show. And don’t get me started on Darken Rahl being Richard’s brother instead of his father.
I had not read the books before the show so no such hang-ups here. (bought and read em after)
“Hiatus” is not a good word to me, every time cartoon network puts a show on “Hiatus” it doesn’t comeback. The only exception I remember is Dexter’s Lab but what come back was hardly anything as good as the first two seasons. I hope they do bring it back for another season and then some and it would nice if they commercialed the dang thing on cartoon network.
Most shows have hiatuses between seasons. They don’t immediately start the next season after they finish producing the previous one. Even live action shows have them.
