:D:D:D That was a good one!
lmao Never heard of that fanfic term eh?
BTW the Spider Man character is Mary Jane Watson. (sometimes Parker) ![]()
The way he spoke in the jail cell to Lion-O when he was setting on the bed confuses me some. I hope he’s not just a flat character without feelings. I hope it’s just that he’s accustomed to burying sad feelings and not showing that kind of emotion.
He sounded defeated and depressed to me. I think in the next few episodes we’re going to get a feel for his real personality with Claudus and Jaga no longer in the picture.
I know her name is Mary Jane…Thats the name Tygra_Rules used by accident…
LOL Are you having as much fun as I am.
I agree in that he sounded depressed. I do hope we get to see the real Tygra, and not just someone who acts like Claudus appendix.
Hmmm… actually, I used Mary Jade lol
And yes, I’m having fun with this as well lol.
New here, but have been a Thundercats fan since the 80s. I loved the original as a kid, but when going back to watch it again as an adult, it was hard to do. But even so I saw that Thundercats had so much potential for greater things, and hoped that one day it would come back to television. Well that day has come and I have to say I absolutely love the new series. I’m glad the producers are taking it in a new direction, fleshing out the story, while still not forgetting about fans of the first series. Compared to what we could have gotten(rock band cats, 3d motion picture…ugh) so far I am satisfied with what they have done with this one and can’t wait to see more!(hate waiting a week, I remember when they came on 5 days a week)
One thing concerning Mumm-Ra that I was wondering about…I don’t think it ever happened in the original series but Mumm-Ra was about to transform into his ever-living form outside of the pyramid. I know Mumm-Ra is more powerful this time(it seems), but did he ever transform outside of his pyramid before?
I’m glad this show has caught on and is popular, I hope it is around for years to come, but either way I’m going to enjoy every minute of this ride.
Oops, I forgot you don’t live in the USA. Sorry. :o
Jaga stopped Lion-O saying that something needed to be done. Jaga then knelt. Cheetara and Tygra saw him kneel and put his hand on Lion-O, Cheetara and Tygra then knelt and did the same. I assumed they were following Jaga’s lead and just decided to do whatever he was doing.
Cheetara, however, is a cleric, and whatever the ritual was, she was probably familiar with it. As for Tygra… I had a theory that perhaps when Tygra was younger, he studied under Jaga to prepare to be a cleric but along the way, he chose a military career instead. Just a thought, maybe.
Cheetara would be the natural one to draw any emotion out of Tygra. I don’t see another guy being able to draw out Tygra’s emotions.
I thought he was talking about Mary Jane from Spiderman. Luke Skywalker and Mary Jane?
/facepalm doh! lol
Could be the kittens as well. You know, remove his feelings as an orphan so he opens with them.
LOL Maybe I should look up what a Mary Sue is for those who wish to know.
oh I know what a Mary Sue is. A Mary Sue is a female character that someone writes that has almost no faults.
I wouldn’t think so. Just my observation, men tend to be honest with kids but to a point. In general, adults want kids to feel secure that they’ve got things under control and are strong. I still think Cheetara would be the one he’d most likely open up to completely.

I do not like those kinds of characters at all. They’re unrelatable. Even in life, I tend to avoid people who act like they’re perfect. I’d rather know a person’s flaws because then they feel real to me.
To be honest, I think (and hope) that too ![]()
Yes its more of a challenge to write flawed characters and its why they’re more fun to read about. ![]()
Just wanted to add this as an example.
Xendara - She’s a cross-clan Thunderian which means her parents came from 2 different clans. It’s partly due to this that’s she’s considered an outcast. She also believes that loyalty is something that must be earned rather than just handed to someone because of tradition. Unfortunately, she doesn’t remember anything before she was rescued by the Avian Chef Advisor Peregren. She also wears gauntlets and a headband and this will be explained later in book 4 Revelations.
Xendara is your character, right? The image in your avatar? Reading that about your character, I would want to dig deeper to know what her character flaws are. What are her odd personality quirks and what mistakes has she made? When I write and invent characters, these are things I try to think about. Not always easy. Sometimes I’d rather write characters who don’t make mistakes.![]()

BTW, Lady Ocelli, looking at your avatar and mine, I think your character would make a cute couple with Tygra. ![]()
Years ago I created a character too. A female named Cheetygra (didn’t know why it didn’t come to my mind when I registered here… just as I pressed the bottom, it came to my mind and I was mad at myself lol). She was the daughter of Tygra and Cheetara of course, with Cheetara’s skin color, but striped instead of spotted. She was fast, could turn invisible, and had the sixth sense and mental power… a great character.
She eventually fell in love with Lion-O and Pumyra’s son, Pumar-O lol.
Pumar-O?
Hey, AstroKreep just got the admins to change his username to GK Punk or something. Maybe you can ask them to change yours. I think if I were going to name Tygra and Cheetara’s child, I’d name her Tytara. ![]()
Xendara is 1 of the characters I’ve created and for some reason she has gotten some of the better lines. One of her flaws is that at one point in the story, she goes after Slithor in a blind fury and things go from bad to worse.
This is Lady Ocelli’s bio:
Ocelli - I wanted to take the opposite approach with her to contrast with Lion-O. She’s young on the outside but has had to mature quickly inside due to the fact that she was chosen to lead at 15 to keep a group of refugees united. As a result, she’s had very little time for any fun. While since she’s an Ocelot of royal blood and more psychic than Cheetara, she has her limits as well.
Tygra and Ocelli as a couple? Wonder what he would think of a petite psychic?
personally, I’d find the character a brand new name instead of combining their parents’ names. I mean, would you do that with your kids? lol
