Hi everyone,

Only a few hours to go now until the ThunderCats explode back onto TV screens, with the pilot on Cartoon Network!! :thumbsup:

We wanted to set up this thread so that, once the premiere starts up, there’s a one-stop place where everyone can post up thoughts, reviews, reactions, screenshots, and more! :slight_smile:

Please be aware that this thread WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS! :slight_smile: So, if you’d prefer not to read these before you get chance to see the show, you’d probably be best to look away now! :slight_smile:

On a personal note (and I’m about to get all mushy) - posting up this thread is a special moment for me! A new ThunderCats series is something we all dreamed of when we set up this site back in 2005, right when the classic show first appeared on DVD - now, these years later, we’re counting down the hours until a whole new chapter begins! :thumbsup:

So yep, that’s enough of me being mushy! :smiley: Hope everyone enjoys the premiere…

Eeveryone will be watching it on Friday nioght but I will be watching it just like I did growing up 25 years ago…Saturday morning cartoons.

I love how Larry Kenny says Mumm-Ra the same way, except a bit tougher… he stresses both the Mumm and Ra

Really fun so far and the race war is a nice adult touch adding quite a bit of depth, gorgeous animation/backgrounds too just like the trailers/teasers, even little movements are really smooth. The action has been gloriously animated too.

Liking the characters so far, Lion-O likeability, Cheetara’s coolness, Tygra’s perfection, Claudus, and the Kit and Kat were awesome in their little debut scene :slight_smile:

Can hear an old Lion-O in Claudus’ voice. Awesome so far. Lion-O is already on the moral high-ground.

It’s very strong so far. Like all the characters, want to hear where Panthro really is. Lion-O is a much more worthy hero this time around.

When are we?

Did I miss the we are now x years into the future line or what are we continuing the old thundercats Story… if so then they are really loyal to namesakes. Very fun. I like that snarf does not talk and I hope he never will.
Back on will be back at next comercial.

The Claudus design and voice looks like what Lion-O could/would have looked like if the series would have been a continuation to the OS

Just rewriting some of the backstory. I’m not sure I like it, but overall it’s great so far.

Lynx… Yes!!! and The old Trojan Trick… Saw that comming… Hmmmmm. Panthro was betrayed. The Archers in true Animated form cant hit a person to save themselves. This is Great!!! Just as I remember and was that a burbill arm Lion-O was playing with in the hut earlier?
