I’m curious why she would? I’d be fine with it though could be cute. As long as we get some adorableness out of them ill be happy.
She looks to me like she might be more of a girly girl than the original Kit as well as a bit of a flirt. In this new series, Lion-O will physically be younger than in the OS. He looks to me like a teenager and I’m guessing he’s either in his teens or just out of them, so he wouldn’t be that much older than Kit and in an age range that many young girls will crush over.
Assuming the kittens are living in a poor society class, it’s possible they’re not used to many people showing them much attention or kindness. I could see Lion-O showing them kindness and Kit developing a crush.
Considering the interview said that Lion-O will develop an attraction towards Cheetara because of her offering him kindness, encouragement, and counsel, it would be interesting if Lion-O found himself in the same position as Cheetara if by his offering kindness and attention to the kittens it causes Kit to become attracted to him.

Loving the new designs, especially Mumm-Ra 
. He looks darn right scary, I just hope his voice goes with the look and that he is no lame-o villain this time, lame in a sense that the poor guy was turned into a joke: always felt sorry for him :P. I really want him to be quite sinister and terrifying, something the Cats shouldn’t be looking forward to be going against.
From what I’ve gathered he’s actually a little bit of a threat still in his normal withered mummy form as opposed to how helpless he was in the original. In the trailer you see him take out all those Thunderian soldiers without transforming and they said in interviews that they don’t reveal his Ever-Living form right away.
That sounds like a wise move honestly. They should gradually build up to it so to make that moment grandeur in itself. O I am just so ecstatic about the new show :D, premiere is little more than a month away.
I’m honestly hoping that the premiere is longer than 1 episode. From what they have said about the show being heavily arc-based, I don’t think 1 episode would cut it. An hour long premiere at the least.
I believe the premier is 3 episodes long if I’m not mistaken.
Keep in mind, even though there’s no reason to even think about the original here, that the first episode didn’t include Mumm-Ra at all. And the 2nd only had the Ever Living form appear in the 2nd half of the episode.
Really good point there actually. I bet we don’t see him until ep 2 (Or part 2 of the premier) and it’s not until Grune releases him or something.
I personally think episode 2 would be too early to reveal his Ever living form. I think it should be saved for the last episode of the pilot arc. Assuming it’s around 3-5 episodes long, it should be saved for the 5th episode where a major battle would take place.

In the second episode, the Mutants enter the pyramid and see Mumm-Ra in frail form. Later he transforms, but we see him in both forms in the episode.
I think it makes more sense for Mumm-Ra to make his appearance near the end of the multi-episode premiere. It would actually make sense to me if he wasn’t revealed even until later in the season. But since he’s in the premiere, perhaps we seem him in the multi-episode premiere.
Ideally you’d want MumRa to be on a similar level to the other villians in the show at first and just when Lion-o thinks he’s got MumRa beaten, MumRa reveals his true strength in his Ever Living form. I’d also have MumRa quietly orchestrating everything behind the scenes and only appear as a minor threat to all but Jaga. Grune the Decoy basically. Perhaps I’m overthinking things.

I think they were Thunderian warrior priests at the command of Jaga “The day I have always feared has arrived. To the Death”. So I’m guessing Jaga will die at the hands of MumRa.
Anyway I hope it’s not too long before Thundercats broadcasts on Cartoon Network in the UK.
That’s what I said, or meant to say. He was introduced in episode 2. The first half of episode 2 he just used his power to transport the Mutants. This set up a good shocker when in the second half of the episode we decides to show his other form and take on Lion-O himself. The Ever-Living form was introduced in the 2nd half of the 2nd episode…
I thought the preview looked like Jaga said that when he was in ghostly form. I could see Jaga dying in the city by a building falling on him when the lizard people attack. I could see Claudus being killed by Grune.
Jaga dying by a building falling on him? nah. too mundane. It’s gotta be something more poignant.
He died of old age in the OS. What was so poignant about that? :eek:
On second thought about Claudus, I could see him being captured and the enemy putting his eyes out (blinding him). Lion-O finds out his father is still alive and a prisoner and he goes to rescue him. He finds his father and they start making their escape but something goes terribly wrong and the only way for Lion-O and those who came with him to escape is by Claudus staying behind and sacrificing his life for them. Lion-O of course would protest but in the end, Claudus’s decision would win out. Lion-O has a tearful farewell to his father and they flee as Claudus sacrifices his own life to save them.
It would be the same concept as the OS but with a much bigger dramatic flare.
He died of old age while piloting the flagship to Third Earth manually to be certain the others reached it. That was the poignant part of it.
It wasnt just old age. He sacrificed himself to make sure the ship got to Third Earth.
