I have no idea..I was wondering that as well. Or if Tygra and Lion-O are somehow already split apart from the group or Mumm-Ra isolates them…I’m too excited to even speculate proper 
Hmmm… if the bros conflict somehow directly causes them to lose the stone? And then the new season starts off with them being one step behind Mumm-Ra and having an even larger chip on their shoulders because neither of them was truly focused enough to do what needed to be done (too busy trying to one-up the other or something like that). That would be an awesome kick-off to the next chapter/arc thing. And a nice knock across the head to the boys.
It is said that when the Spanish arrived to Peru, the Incas were governed by two brothers (Huáscar and Atahualpa) that were in conflict, and that’s why it was so easy for them to conquer us. Of course, people know it has nothing to do with that but with the fact that they arrived with guns the Incas didn’t know 
Anyway, sounds as an interesting episode.
Do the bolds mean there will be another hiatus after this episode?
I think they will be there, but consider it a thing between the brothers and Mumm-Ra given that he killed their father (of course, given that Mumm-Ra killed very Thudnerian, is might be a thing btween him and all the gang).
And yes, I hope Mumm-Ra teaches teh brothers a lesson or two about the importance of working together, but they might learn it by the end of the previous episode (“The Astral Plane”), unless that episode ends with them in conflict and in this one they learn to understand each other.
I also hope this episode shows a little more of Tygra’s relationship with Claudus. So far it all has been abut Lion-o mourning and remembering him, but little -or nothing- about how Tygra is dealing with his death.
I’m thinking the ‘astral plane’ will play mind games with the group and prey upon their insecurities and all of them will be incapacitated except for Lion-O and Tygra who will ‘escape’ it.
We all know Lion-O’s insecurities so we don’t need to go over that.
For Cheetara, I think she may doubt her ability to guide Lion-O as well as Jaga could, her guilt at not being able to save Jaga, and/or being the last cleric to survive. Those kinds of things.
For Tygra, it would probably be about his jealousy about Lion-O and his position as part of the ‘royal family.’
For the Wiley kids, it’ll probably be Eldara related and/or being completely alone without each other or any friends.
For Panthro, it’ll probably be related to guilt at not being able to stop Grune when he first joined up with Mumm-Ra and not being there to save Claudus and defend Thundera when it fell.
For Snarf, it’ll probably be food that is just outside of his reach but he is incapable of reaching.
isn’t there always a break after a season finalie? lets just hope it’s not too long of one.

Don’t most shows go on hiatus during the holiday season? I think Young Justice’s last episode of this year is this coming week. My guess is new episodes sometime in January but with how CN handles their shows, who really knows?

Hmmm… interesting. Kind of Dungeon & Dragons’ episode “Quest of the Skeleton Warrior”. Here the synopsis:
A war-bird riding knight cursed into undeath seeks out the five children to recover an ancient artifact from the tower of his old order. But inside the tower, the children must confront and overcome their greatest fears.
I guess (I live outside the USA, so when I watch the series, they don’t necessarily have the same hiatus as there ;))
I asked it because it surprised me that there’ll be another hiatus only after 5 epsodes, considering there was a 6-weeks hiatus after episode 8.

You could say from the premiere they knew each other from earlier (at least I got that impression).
Interesting. Sounds more like the relationship is no longer happening with the way it’s worded. Like they broke up amicably or something long ago before the start of the series. At least that would explain Cheetara’s more ‘friendly’ approach to Lion-O in earlier episodes.
And yes, there usually is a break in the winter for the holiday season and the like and it resumes in like january at the earliest and march at the latest. At least that is what happens normally. Cartoon network is kind of wonky on that with that episode break we had before. That was the main reason why some of us were upset about that 6 week break in the first place.

Huh. That’s interesting. It could explain that quiet kind of familiarity they seem to have going on. I also thought the synopsis could have meant that the two knew each other years back, like when they were children, perhaps trained together a little bit or something. It would explain why Tygra has been so impressed withher so far,and perhaps some of her coolness or indifference to him. Like ‘yeah, I am a better fighter now; why don’t you absorb that.’ I think they’re a bit young to have already had a relationship and broken it off already. But it’s not impossible.
Definitely thought from that wink in the premiere Cheetara and Tygra MAY know one another already or they shared some sort of connection. I hope Lion-O and Tygra get to tag team Mummra and Grune and whup their tails!
I wouldn’t call 19/20 too young to have been in a relationship and broken it off. It’s not exactly uncommon for people to have a couple of shorter relationships while they’re young. They could have been together when they were Lion-O’s age. That would give them plenty of time to figure out that the relationship wasn’t working for them and break up before the start of the show.
It was hard to see her expression with the headgear, but she seemed ready to roll her eyes, exasperated/mildly irritated, possibly even a mental oh-no-he-didn’t. And yes, glorious return of Mumm-Ra. Sounds like it’s going to be a great episode. Quick question, why don’t they show pre iews of the new episodes eaflier than thursday night online? Friday night is the only time I watch tv, but if the previews were revealed earlier, I’d expect circulation would be better. I’d say it’s kinda needed righg now, especially ifratings dropped with these past couple eps. Which I suspect they have.
@CappucinoBird - no it isn’t too uncommon, and it also depends upon the individuals. Just where I’ve grown up, it’s often not the wisest decision, so that’s why I thought that might be a bit young. But that’s putting things to my perspective without accounting for others.

I think a previous romantic relationship is doubtful. Nothing about the way they act around each other screams that level of familiarity. You could point out that they seem to constantly be near each other, but that’s a bit of a stretch.
Assuming the synopsis is true, I would guess that the two knew each other as children and Tygra forgot about it and Cheetara chose to not bring it up. I seriously doubt something like a romantic relationship would have never came up on 10 episodes.
Though that does seem to be a common theme in anime/manga.
Boy is girls first love, but he fails to see how big of an impact he had on her by doing something like, I dunno giving her a peice of bread when they were 6 :rolleyes: Boy and girl meet up 10 years later and girl still harbors strong romantic feelings. Over the course of the series the two will get close/fall in love. Give or take a few components for the sake of originality.
Maybe that did meet up in training. I mean, did Tygra want to be a prince forever? He could have gotten some training in hopes of becoming a general and this could have been where their paths crossed. I can see it now.
Tygra: to a agitated/roughed Cheetara) You’re small. Those weapons are too heavy for someone you’re size, and its a disadvantage to you’re natural agility. Why don’t you try a staff? It’s easier to handle and it wont slow you down.

pretty much every episode so far has had two synopsis. there’s the one that’s released first usually on tvguide and there’s a second one they include with the preview pics and clips. just watch, when they release the previews later this week it’ll have this synopsis.
I’m just glad that it seems those two will finally get some much needed attention.
Hmm, I’m looking forward to seeing more of young Tygra and how Cheetara became a Cleric.
Perhaps as youngsters Tygra and Cheetara both trained to be clerics and for whatever reason Tygra didn’t complete the training. It might explain his magical ability to become invisible IF he learnt some stuff from Jaga before stopping the training.
P.S if they make it so that Cheetara and Tygra are like blood half brother/sister I’m gonna go nuts! lol. (Just had a Luke skywalker/Leya moment!)
