Perhaps also a scene so far back, the bros didn’t have a rivalry yet, and their father treated them a bit more equally. That would be revealing to the audience and could be used as a tool towards the bros reconciliation.
I can’t find the post, but I read the someone mentioned that the episode this week that it sounds like Lion-O and Tygra may have a falling out? And next week is titled Brothers. Perhaps Tygra will leave at the group at the end of this week’s episode and hopefully next week we’ll learn about where Tygra came from, or maybe Lion-O will learn by opening the Book of Omens.
But I will be very annoyed if they reconcile them in a way that makes Lion-O seem to lord over Tygra. It just feels like a very delicate issue that could easily be handled badly.

En realidad, no se su nombre primero jajaaja siempre los llamo Senor o Senora Z… pero es ella mayor? No tanto pero, bastante para tener hijos adultos (3)? Y que los hijos quizas no tienen una parecida latina? Las hijas tienen pelo rubio y ojos verdes y azules. No quiero ofenderle en decir asi, pero eso es que ellas me dijeron, que a veces personas les burlan por su aparencia de ‘gringo’.

Also in next week’s summary, the two are supposed to go toe-to-toe with Mumm-Ra. And yes, the handling of this is key. Tygra needs to be taken down a peg or two, but the manner in which its done will affect its reception.

Season 1 finale? Huh? Season 1 Book 1 had 8 episodes and this is only the 12th episode so far into the series that’s only been on for 4 months, how can this episode be the season 1 finale?
Interesting that it just lists the two of them. I wonder if this will somehow related to whatever happend between Leo and Tygus in the past.
from what I understand (if I’ve gotten it right) the production team at Warner Brothers had a season of 26 episodes with two 13 episode arcs. then when it went to Cartoon Network they divided the two story arcs into two separate seasons.
I admit I’ve also been wondering how this will affect the dvds. if they release season 1 as 13 episodes then that only leaves 5 episodes on the next dvd. I’m personally hoping they’ll release season 1 as 26 episodes so that when they have the boxed set it’ll have the entire intended season. and then they could release either 3 separate dvds with 6 episodes each or (preferably) 1 more dvd of 8 and 1 of 10.
either way they decide though there’s no way to get the same number of episodes on all the dvds.
How long is a season going to air? I would think it would be hard to maintain people’s interest in the show if after next week they take another long break. So since I saw that they picked up 52 episodes, I’m assuming that means they’re planning on four seasons? It seems weird that a season would consist of only 13 episodes. Even a season of Last Airbender was longer than that.
Yeah most seasons for cartoon shows these days are 26 episode runs. I know that was the case with the 2002 He-Man series… maybe it will take a short break over christmas and then return at beginning of January?
However I’d keep it on during the run up to christmas, with a repeat showing on satuday mornings. I doubt kids are seeing it as 8.30pm is too late for younger kids! I don’t understand why ThunderCats isn’t being exposed to children much more!
hopefully the break won’t be any longer than the last one. when I asked the crew on tumblr about it they said they didn’t know how long it would be yet so maybe it hasn’t been finalized. they also said they weren’t done making all the episodes for the next arc so that might factor into it as well depending on how far along they are.
