I would have been ok with that if they both were introduced at the same time.

I see no problems with bringing Bengali in this time; there’s no threat of him replacing anybody.
I’m actually hoping he’ll get a personality transplant like Tygra did. It’d be interesting to see another adult in the mix. Maybe he’ll be quiet but steady, or maybe he’ll be a bit of a nervous coward (OS Snarf) to shake things up.
I think Lynx-O’s main schtick this time isn’t that he’s blind (although he still will be) but that he’s old. From what we could see in the pilot he looks like he has a good twenty years even on Panthro and may be from the same generation as Jaga. However, just because he’s old and blind doesn’t mean he can’t still kick ass and he fights bare-handed in a style reminiscent of eastern martial arts like Kung-Fu and Judo. It would be neat if they kept his “pressure point” style of fighting and play it up as a reference to “Fist of the North Star.”
As for Bengali, well since Pumyra seems to have gotten a lot of his personality this time around I’m thinking he’ll be the strong silent type. The kind of guy who just stares at you when you say or do something dumb.
Didn’t he have the mini satellite dish on his wrist in the os?
Curse of Ratilla = Sounds AWESOME!!! I just want to see Ratar-O!
Birth of the Blades = Hopefully Mumm-Ra succeeds at getting the Sword because he needs to rack up some wins over the T-Cats here. He’s two stones down, so get him at least the Sword of Plundarr.
The Forever Bag = Sounds like a continuation from what happened in the Kittens subplot in “The Pit” which is good. It could be a nice and cute episode like “Survival of the Fittest” was, and it’ll have that same dynamic of having an epic quest on one side and then we get to follow what was going on with the rest of the T-Cats while that big story was going on.
Recipe for Disaster = This type of episode has been done in animated shows before. Its sort of a detour from the main quest to the heroes a possible “easy way out” of winning only to have it taken away from them at the end. I remember Samurai Jack having one such episode. Could be interesting.
I agree about lynxo, a japanese aikido style or a chinese tai chi style would suit lynxo perfectly!
Bengali would suit that strong silent personality too! The smouldering strong/silent type. Hed be silent angry, whereas pumyra would be shouty angry!

A lot of good points, I agree! I never thought that about recipe for disaster, I didn’t know what to make of that one tbh, but that makes a lot of sense.

Predictably, I’m most interested in the June episode there isn’t a synopsis for: The Soul Sever.

I’ve wondered about that one for awhile.
After “The Forever Bag,” hopefully the WilyTwins and Snarf will join the other ThunderCats in “Recipe for Disaster.”
I’m hoping “The Forever Bag” won’t be a 100% Kit and Kat episode. I did not enjoy “Survival of the Fittest” much and it will be the second episode they’ve had to themselves, and Cheetara hasn’t even had one! I like the twins a lot, but another full episode with only them is too much.
I’m still going to watch it, though. And it wouldn’t make me think any less of the shoe because I think the younger audiences really rnjoy Kit and Kay getting into trouble.
They’ve only got a few episodes left and a lot of action to cover, so I would think “The Forever Bag” has to deal with finding one of the last two stones in some way. Maybe Tookit leads them to El Dara where one stone can be found?
“The Soul Sever” sounds like an episode where something major will happen and they don’t even want to hint at what it might be. As always, I have crackpot theories on what it might be.
