I don’t think they’ll introduce anyone new that close to the finale.
I’m thinking maybe it has something to do with Jaga and the Book of Omens.
OR it might be that the next stone is that green stone. It looked like it had sort of a circuit board pattern on it and it had a “techno” sound effect so since I saw it I’ve been thinking that stone has something to do with technology.
Hmm, you’d think the last episode would have to do with the stone.
I strongly believe in the next 26 episodes, provided they are produced of course, Lion-O will be older and changed, so the last episode will try to bridge the gap between the first Seasons and the ensuing.
That is a a possibility. Maybe the last few minutes of the final episode, it will show them reconstructing Thundera after they “defeat Mumm-Ra” and learn that Mumm-Ra is back and more powerful. So maybe a 5-6 month skip to show some aging.
This is an interesting idea for maybe some “flash forwards” in an episode, I don’t see how older characters (10 years IDK?) (Panthro would be a geriatric btw :panthro: ) would translate with the core demo for the series. Because at the end of the day it’s about the $$.
The whole aging thing seems like it takes away from the story about the cats and their development, particularly Lion-o. One of the most interesting aspects of the reboot so far has been watching him screw up, learn and succeed (not necessarily in that order) Aging them bypasses this to an extent. Plus we haven’t seen all the OS characters yet. I still have this lurking feeling that you’re going to see Vultureman Redux, Lynx-o and Bengali in the last episodes of the season..

Well, we had official word that Lion-O will age and grow physically and mentally as well. Till now we have seen the mental aspect, and certainly a good job has been done, the ‘outside’ aspect though is only now starting to show off.Over the last two episodes Lion-O has beefed-up and grown stronger.I hark back to Lion-O’s mighty punch to Rataro!! (It makes me thing this blow could even throw Panthro outside the ring in Trials p.2:D;)). Still, he will grow even more, and dare say resemble more to the Classis image. I don’t thing the same applies for the rest of the characters though.Besides they have already past adolescence.OK not the Kittens included!!
Probably, but that doesn’t mean the episodes right before it don’t have anything to do with it as well. Just look at the episodes preceding Between Brothers.

Yeah, I know. I was counting it as one, though. Speaking of that, I really hope they don’t release one half one week and then the second half the next week. The suspense will kill me!
They may do it. I mean they did it with Star Wars The Clone Wars. Then again CN may will nice knowing you.

I wonder if CN still think this is season 2. That promo they show before it start. You know the Thundercats are back with in all new season.
It says all new episodes, not a new season. Plus Matt Mercer said CN is skeptical about season 2.
Oh got that wrong.
However, he could have been saying the current episodes are season 2 and they were skeptical on how well they would do.
So if CN think this is season 2 we may get season 3.
