Episode 21, Saturday, May 12: “Birth of the Blades” Mumm-Ra seeks to reclaim the sword of Plun-Darr.
Episode 22, Saturday, May 19: “The Forever Bag” WilyKit, WilyKat, and Snarf track down a thief in Dog City.
Episode 23, Saturday, May 26: “Recipe for Disaster” The Cats discover a magic elixir that can stop Mumm-Ra, but will they be able to gather enough of it in time to defeat him?
I’m pretty sure these synopses are confirmed now aren’t they? Oh Hammy, I answered your question about the next episode in another thread before I saw this, sorry.
Curse of Ratilla: I am SO excited about this episode!!! There is so much potential here! First off, RATARO baby! Awesome!! What do you guys think he’ll look like? Will he keep his armour and twin sais with crazy lazer eyes from the OS do you think? Do you think he will still outrank Slithe as he did in the OS? I can’t wait to see this reincarnation of him. There is a lot of potential for him to be as nasty as Kaynar! I think we also might get a glimpse of Vultureman here, the character was very closely linked with Rataro in the OS, perhaps he’s in a lab concocting some biological virus or building a nosediver or something! lol! Okay, I’m hoping, but its still possible! Also what about the Thunderian slaves, will we see anyone we know? Lynxo? Bengali? I think LionO and the cats will HAVE to rescue them, and they can begin the storylines of them starting to gather the refugees and rebuild Thundera. There should be some pretty cool king like moments from Liono here I think, with a bit of a quantum leap in development as he faces being king in front of a large section of his people rather than just the Thundercats.
Birth of the blades: Okay, its probably not a two parter, but this HAS to follow on with plotlines started in the last episode right, with the continued search for the sword of plundarr? I think there will be more flashback scenes here with Leo and co, or perhaps even earlier than that?
The forever bag: This is the follow up to the b story in last weeks episode where the kittens go and get their stuff back. I think it will probably be a development story for the kittens, showing how they develop their skills and become more integral to the team. I also think there will be a b story tying up or continuing some of the plots from the last two episodes.
Recipe for disaster: This one I don’t have a clue on!!
I think we’ll get Lynx-o in the next episode as we know he’s a Thunderan and it’s a convenient way to bring him in (as a rescued slave).
But with Bengali, since he’s a tiger, I suspect we’ll have to wait another episode or two for the Thundercats to run across him. Maybe we’ll see Bengali in Birth of Blades fixing one of the swords–if they hold to his OS blacksmith background.
Bengali will more then likely be somewhere ether Lion-o or tygra’s age. Besides we will have Lynx-o being the oldest already. If there aiming the show to a younger audiance they will focus on teenager/early 20’s characters.
What would be really cool if the show last long enogh is that they defeat Mummra at the end of season 2 and rebuild thunderia. So in the third season someone on purpose or on accident will unleash the Lunitacs or Monstar will show up to reclaim his power stone.

I am thinking this as well, seeing since Tookit still has Kit’s flute and Kat’s fling. I am willing to bet that this will not only be comic relief, but this storyarc’s conclusion as well.
This is definitely a great plot device, seeing since it’s a perfect way to re-introduce Lynx-O. in fact, I mentioned this in the Ratar-O predicions thread.
It is hard to say how these episodes will turn out since many times the episodes before hand didn’t go how we thought they would ether. It seems to me that the writing is starting to get better then in the earlier episodes as well.
I absolutely agree, the writing is fantastic, especially since it is so heavily constrained by the 20 minute time slot. And I know, some of our predictions in the past have been WAY off! haha! But hey, its fun to speculate!
