I’m doubting Bengali will ever make an appearence.
First, there’s the whole “Tygra being the last Tiger” thing. Yes, tehy come can out with a twist, but I think that’s highly improbable.
Second, in the OS, Tygra and Pumyra were the most “passive” characters, while Bengali was hot-tempered. Now both Tygra and Pumyra have well-defined personalities, adn are kind of hot-tempered, so they muight be a replacement for Bengali.
Third, also in the OS, Bengali’s introducion seemed more like a replacement for Tygra (because many fans considered him boruing, plain, etc); thye brought in Bengali and Tygra got less lines and was slowy written off of some episiodes, until he almost disappeared. That doesn’t seem necesaary this time around with Tygra being like he is.
Lynx-O, Pumyra, and Bengali were all confirmed to appear. It’s been mentioned in multiple threads.
Can wait to see what Bengali looks like and to have Lynx-o return.

Also - and I feel like I am repeating myself so often on this fact - tygra is the last of HIS clan, POSSIBLY his specific breed of tiger. There will be other species, other clans, and other tigers. And as for the OS bengali replacing tygra? I don’t think so either.
Bengali was never confirmed by name, but I do think I remember interviews where they said all the iconic characters and fan favorites would appear.
Ok so are we going to get a vultureman. You think he’ll have wing. Plus he’ll make more vehicle for the mutant. Plus where are Atticus and Kaynar army.
You’re right, noone was mentioned by name. But they did state specifically ALL the thundercats would return.

Its a strong possibility vultureman will come back with a new name. He will likely have wings because the other bird like species we have seen had them. No idea about new vehicles, but a fistpounder would be epic! Lol! Atticus and kaynar were hired as generals to stop the desertions of the lizard army, they don’t necessarily have an army.

Also, with the introduction of teh new TCs, it was Tygra who suffrered the most when it comes to appearences, action and dialogues, until practically disappearing from the series. You know you’re not always right, right? Bengali’s introduction is what you think will happen, not what will happen for sure. It all comes to speculations when talking about cartoons, and the only ones who really know the truth are TPTB (producers, writers, etc.).
I agree with you in the different kind of tigers, and I do think Bengali could come from one of those (or was abandonded because of borning white, as some have suggested), just as I agree with you in that Bengal are a different kind of tigers (some of them white and some orange) and in that OS Tygra and Bengali are not brothers. I just said I was doubtful about him being introduced. I never said he won’t be introduced.

I never pretended to always be right. I’m just stating an obvious logical fact Noone has ever mentioned bengali appearing specifically, but they have definately stated ALL the cats will appear at some point, and Bengali is the only one left. And pretty much everything we say on here is mostly speculation.
And I think the producers will have had different clans in mind, otherwise why mention clans and not race? There has been a lot of thought and intelligence in the writing, I don’t think that’s something they’ll overlook.
As for the OS, you are entitled to that opinion, but I never got that vibe at all and its the first time I’ve heard of it, so I find it highly doubtful otherwise it would have been discussed before, right? I mean getting rid of tygra? I don’t think so. The last episodes were very poorly done with the team spread all over the place, doesn’t mean they wanted to get rid of anyone. Pumyra was hardly ever used either. And so what if they intoduced another tiger? Are you saying he was a replacement for grune too because technically he’s a tiger too? What about panthro? Was he a replacement for the dead jaga because a panther technically IS a jaguar. I’m sorry your argument makes no sense, yes they could have used many other cats, but a bengal tiger was chosen. I wouldn’t read anything into it.

No, Panthro wasn’t a replacement for Jaga, because they both were introduced from the beginning, and Jaga was meant to die since then. I think that’s why they took care in naming one of them Jaga (jaguar) and the toehr one Panthro (panther), although I know they’re the same at the end of the day.
Bengali, on the otehr hand, was introduced in the second season. The producers said many fans found Tygra boring, lame, etc (not me of course lol), so I think (yes, it’s speculation) they went for a tiger to replace the other tiger. IMO, they wanted to get rid of Tygra because fans weren’t into him that much (or they thought so), but you can’t have the main felines represented without a tiger, can you? So Bengali was the best choice in that sense. I think Bengali took Tygra’s “appearence” but couldn’t have his personality as well, so that’s why they made Lynx-o so wise, because that was Tygra’s main characteristic. So they practically split Tygra in two: personality traits and phisical appearence, and Lynx-o and Bengali were born.
They could have gone with a ocelot or a leopard for example.
And Grune was a sabertooth. Although it’s called “sabertooth tiger” it wasn’t a tiger. If anything, it looked more like a jaguar or a leopard.
I see what you mean, but I still disagree. He never seemed like a replacement to me, just another tiger. It is very weird, however. that the only cat species they had a copy of (not including WilyKit and WilyKat) was Bengali. I just never really saw how people thought he replaced Tygra. Sure Tygra did a lot more in the first season, but other shows have seasons that focus less on some of the main characters. I won’t go into detail, but just thought I’d say that.
I think clans aren’t the whole species. Remember when Jaga asked Cheetara what clan she was from in that flashback? if the clans are the whole species he should’ve known she was from the “Cheetah clan” or whatever.
You’re right many fans found him boring, but that still doesn’t mean that bengali was a replacement. I mean most people found snarf annoying but snarfer wasn’t his replacement. I just don’t think the whole replacement scenario was ever even an issue. A leopard character would have been cool too though!
