I like the 80s better, but I didn’t dislike the 2011 version at all. Yes, they made him arrogant and at first I didn’t like it, but then I got to understand the character’s psychology and kind of feeling sad for him and liking him.

This is almost identical to how I felt. It took me a bit to warm up to the ns Tygra but am a fan. I still identify more with the original myself though.

I actually like the Lunataks better than the Berserkers!

That’s not too unpopular. I feel the same way. The berserks are annoying. The only time any of them was interesting was when Mumm-Ra used hammerhand’s soul to give life to the panthro clone.

I wonder who came up with them. I know Starr wrote the episodes…but I would like to think he was forced to put them in.

I liked the Berserkers. I always thought the idea of Cyborg Vikings was really cool. Also visually and gimmick wise they made really cool toys.

I agree. I have no idea what they were thinking when they scrapped this design for the design they used.

yeah and when they did use it in ONE episode it didn’t last long.

LOL I was thinking it looked familiar. I must have seen it when I watched the full series. I only seen the episodes after Thundercats Ho when the DVDs were released here.

IMO it makes me think of an angry gramma having to deal with her bratty grandkids her daughter dumped on her.

Also this might be weirdly off topic but it still pertains to a character.. am I the only one who thinks Mumm-Ra looks kind of… cute in this picture?
