that used to be one of my favorite episodes, so i’m sure that exodus and the sixth sense are indeed the basis for my childhood preference of lion-o/cheetara. at least thats 2 major hints - 2 more than tygra ever got…

I’m pretty sure that’s Lynne Lipton’s voice also.
Not until we find Tygra’s or Cheetara’s diaries telling us what they did together all that time alone in the forest 
And then Lion-O uses the Sword of Omens to go inside the book and watch… ok Now I’m getting into bad fanfic territory here. lol
Good god, why is the Cheetara fan thread so dead? Does everyone hate her now or something?
I like her enough. She just hasn’t had any focus other then cheering on Lion-O. Im waiting for her character to develop into something less generic. The wisdom speaking totom pole thing gets old;).
Though, I do feel like we have gotten a little more to chew on lately.
We know she really loves fighting with a staff
She has a slightly competitive nature
Once the show gives us more of her quirks and develops more of a personality, Im sure my discussion will come. 
I feel there’s been enough to talk about. Her scenes in Journey to the Tower of Omens. Plus her jokingly goading at Panthro about slow and steady wins the race.
And last weeks line wasn’t about loving to fight with a staff. She said, ‘I love that staff!’ Which is a line I loved completely. It was brilliant and I watched that scene over and over like ten times.
Oh and, I got confused at first when Lion-O said Viragor wasn’t a monster and she said, ‘But he did break my staff.’ At first it bothered me cause I thought she meant that proves he’s a monster, then I realized she was joking again. I love when she’s like that.
Damn, saying joking doesn’t sound right, what would be the better word to describe her behavior in those two scenes?
That she really loved that staff and figures anyone that would break it is evil?
I think it was meant more as a joke about a quirk Cheetara has. Which is that she is really sentimental over the few possessions she does have. Clerics are pretty much like monks and she was a street urchin before then so she values the things she does have.
I think it was like, ‘He may not be evil, but he did break my staff.’
That’s how I feel it was meant, even though not all the words were used.
But yes, you make a good point as well, which is where the ‘I love that staff!’ line comes in. Man, her being an orphan too surprised me in all honesty, really does seem like Lion-o’s the odd man out in this show.
Just thought I’d share this with everyone. Took me about an hour to edit out the CN symbol, especially in the dark area where both colors look exactly the same. I’ve done this before but this is the first I’ve felt like sharing as it’s to me the best still of Cheetara yet. This is perfect as a background for any Cheetara fans so go ahead and use it if you want. Small warning though, don’t zoom in on the area where the CN symbol was, if you do so it’ll become painfully obvious it was edited.

So, quite a bit learned about Cheetara this ep, well, how she joined the clerics, and that she’s an orphan, felt a pang of sadness for her when that was stated, personally I always assumed her parent’s were clerics as well, apparently not.
But really, c’mon people, we gotta talk about this stuff!
The love triangle thread is beating us by 40 pages! I mean that’s a great thread, but Cheetara is just as great!
Awesome character, i was totally in love with her since i was 4 when i watched the original show and it was her with Cleo from Heathcliff (Remember her?) and M’ress from Star Trek The Animated Series (Remembered this when they showed reruns of it on Nick?) that got me fascinated with catgirls since then as Cheetara proves to be the queen of catgirls in cartoons.
Exodus was a cool episode and it gave us our first exposure to animated nudity as that was awesome to see her naked as i felt funny seeing that at age 4.
I like how cute they made her for the new show so far and she is still queen so far. Lion-O and Cheetara would make a cute couple though yet Tygra still has feelings for her.
I remember first seeing Cheetara and thinking how cool she was. Then i decided i should watch the show. I like the Reboot Cheetara’s design more. I used to think, when i was like 8, that Cheetara was so brave wearing that leotard/swimsuit all the time. 8)
I never liked the old Cheetara much. I’ll enjoy an odd fanart or two if it’s particularly well drawn. But that costume, and her voice. Just didn’t do anything for me. Then again I was like eight when I watched the show, I don’t think I liked girls all the way back then, lol
But this Cheetara I am in love with. For reasons just look at the first post of the thread.
Well, it was when i was little so…i definatly think the new Cheetara is better, and i liked how encouraging she is. Though some people are making her into a bad guy. 
I think you’re an artist with a great imagination.
Man, I fall more and more in love with Cheetara each episode. Her talking about her feelings for Tygra was so sweet.
Me too, loved how she came off a little shy about it it was very sweet and aww how she wrapped her arms around him!

Random note…I totally want to see Thundercats memes that are like lol cats.
Ok…I’m very, very late with this, Cheetara is team mom, and I think it’s a role she’s given herself to fill, but that she may not have much experience, or be as prepared for it as she thought (she’s only a few years older than Lion-O, a year younger than Tygra; sometimes its hard to taken on such a role with your peers). And how long has it been since either of the boys had any sort of female figure in their life? I would like to see something like this alluded to in the show. That she honestly hadn’t thought romantically about Lion-O, and wasn’t pursuing Tygra for a time, because she gave herself this assignment as the matriarch of their group. However, having a lack of experience with such (secret service/no kids/much interaction with her cohort) she gave off a completely different impression, because both of the boys interpreted it as romantic intent. If this were somehow touched on, I also think it would help her seem more dimensional- and particularly that she is capable of making mistakes like the others as well, so she has room to grow as well i.e. her relationships with others.
But that’s just my two cents. Sometimes they don’t make sense.
