If you’re not a fan of the newCheetara, don’t post in this thread. It’s a fan thread in the 2011 series forum for the newCheetara, so let’s allow only those who are a fan of this newCheetara post here. If you’re a fan of the oldCheetara but not a fan of the new one, just stay out of the thread and let those who like the newCheetara talk about that character.
Liking the newCheetara doesn’t mean you have to like everything about that character, it’s okay to post some negative comments as well, but in this thread it should be by people who overall like the newCheetara.
Let’s keep the fan threads debate free. If one person says something they don’t like about the newCheetara that another person would like to debate or vice versa, then you need to debate it in another thread about that particular topic.
I’ve been waiting till someone else posted so it wouldn’t merge with the first post, but while I’m fine with making the rest of the fan threads, if anyone has a specific character they’d like to make it themselves for say so and give the link for the first post.
Im all for it! Love a lady who can bust some chops. I cant wait to shove her down my nieces throat.

Between her and the eventual success that we likely be Korra, I dont know what Im going to do.
Actually, I think she’s more of a loyalist to Lion-O than to the crown. Though since they are one and the same there’s no conflict. She seems to like that he is different from everyone else before he ever became king.
I do have concerns of her being set up as being a love interest for Lion-O. Though it’s not about being against the potential pairing but on how it could be handled.
Though if they are taking some of their queues from Avatar: The Last Airbender, I think things will be fine.
If you ask me, so far the subtlety of the scenes seems to suggest they know what they’re doing to make it good and that it won’t end up crap. That’s just me anyway.
Cheetara was and is awesome. I kind of hope they follow the OS and not make her a love interest for Lion-O, even though it looks like they’re hinting toward it. Though I did always rather like that ep with Wizz-Ra (worst name EVER, BTW) Very looking forward to the first Cheet-centric eppy!
Well y’know, this series they can be together. In the OS it never would of seemed right considering he was a 5 year old in a grown man’s body. That just would of been weird. To me anyway.

“He is the King now”-Cheetara.
IMO nothing about that hints that she is loyal to Lion-O . It actually implies that she is going along with his choices based on her duty as a cleric, not as Lion-O’s friend who she believes is making the right choices. In the beginning of ROTR she agreed with Tygra, that they should follow the path Jagga set for them but she went along with Lion-O’s choice despite being clearly upset. Same thing when it came to the Kits. Once again in SOTP, she says something about her service to the CROWN, not Lion-O being a great honor.
Sure she cares about Lion-O, but at this point she seems to be doing her job, sometimes regrettably.
Im not knocking Lion-O/Cheetara, Im just saying she seems to take her job very seriously. At this point her service as a Cleric seems to be overshadowing most if not all of her decisions when it comes to Lion-O. Almost like Panthro’s Its not our duty to question you to the King. Like Panthro she’s being respectful of Lion-O position of power.
I don’t care what anybody says about what Cheetara should do, all that matters is she is very sexy, I love her new look and I seriously need to get back into drawing Lynxana / Cheetara romance pics again.

LOL, I’m sure if I posted my Lynxana / Cheetara yuri pics I would get banned too. It’s very tame but some people have a problem with that sort of stuff.
Yes Cheetara is sexy. She’s a primal force of nature so that’s a given.
So anyways I am curious to find out if her sixth sense will be utilized in the current series or not. Also I believe they need to showcase her speed more than just having her running in and out of battles.
I have a horrible feeling they will not let her have a sixth sense because she is labeled as a cleric with magical powers.
What I didn’t like was the fact that in the premiere she wasn’t fast because she is a cheetah, Jaga and the other clerics could run as fast. That kind of annoyed me, I feel that took her one and only asset that nobody could possibly have away from her. Taking her speed and making it level with other clerics just took away her cheetah identity.
Jaga looked stupid running that fast…I don’t think I’m the only one to feel this way.
Cheetah Girl must have something. She was my 2nd favorite in the OS, and so is now. I like how she always was the voice of reason with others, but had some insecurities herself, especially regarding to her sixth sense, which made her more “human”.
To be honest, I liked mor the OS Cheetara character when it comes to looks, but the NS Cheetara when it comes to personality (even though she hasn’t have that many lines yet)… would like to see the OS Cheetara with the NS one’s personality.
And I always thought she had something going on with Tygra in the OS… and think they have something going on in th NS as well. Time will tell.
I loved the way the OS Cheetara looked, even though I saw a picture of Courtney Love around 1995 and thought “Oh rats… twins.”
I think the NS Cheetara is definitely good but she needs more spots. And the voice is maybe too “young” sounding. But she can definitely kick butt.
