Cartoon Network May Have Deliberately Sabotaged ThunderCats' Ratings

Well, as long as it has the same art/animation, same voice actors, and follows the story then I’ll be okay. To be honest, even another reboot would be alright with me as long as it wasn’t too childish or the stupid rock band thing.

I don’t think they will do that since the series was so dark. I hate there music. It’s practically the same melodies for certain dramatic moments. I don’t think they will even use the original VAs but they one 4Kids uses, which is what will really bother me since I loved all the VAs on the series. I like the way most of the designs of the characters are, which I think they will redo.

I agree with LioConvoy, I wouldn’t beleive everything put on Wikipedia. I think we should all wait for word from 4Kids/ CN.

The only thing I would suggest though if 4Kids were continueing/rebooting it would be a few ‘tweaks’. Possibly age Lion-O and make him more like Claudis.

Gotta say I do agree with AirMuseServalia. I really wasn’t keen on the NS music, I did not think it had any catchy or memorable tunes like the OS had. I read that the guy that did the NS music took a lot of hints from John Williams etc but aside from the main theme I found the rest very generic.

Hammy, the one thing every Thundercats fan can agree on 110% is they don’t want the Rock Band idea. :liono

I don’t believe 4Kids bought out the “ThunderCats” license.

For the love of all that is holy, I hope this is not true.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I know 4Kids had an hand in the 1980’s ThunderCats (back when they were known as ‘Leisure Concepts Inc.’) but I had no idea they were involved with the reboot

Oh~you know, they would say if they were involved in the reboot and I don’t see where it says that anywhere. That makes sense now you saying it was under another company (and makes me a little more relieved) if that is all it was. No new TC for you, 4Kids bad com. Bad! Bad!

…didn’t 4kids go bankrupt last year?

Yes they went bankrupt but it seems they still own a few propertiers. One of them listed on the link is Thundercats, and when you click on Thundercats it goes to the 2011 series.
Maybe it’s a mistake? Though how could they own the original series, I thought Warner Bros owned it?

It still says that the show is owned by WB, so I think it may just be a mistake. There’s also no reference or proof that they do own it nor is it on the 4kids website. I’m just assuming its a mistake.

I noticed that as well Hammy.
I emailed 4Kids and asked them, so I shall await their reply.

Wikipedia is always tampered with, don’t believe it.

I think it’s the old show, not the new one. And someone just linked it wrong. They wouldn’t have acquired the new show if the company went bankrupt before it aired.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. They obviously just linked it to ‘ThunderCats’ without checking which version they linked it to.

Yeah I think it is just a mix up or someone has tampered with it.

Gosh, the way Gold Lion puts it, it’s as if CN thinks viewers are fish!!

Might as well be.
