Agree with the clothing part. There is no need for Cheetara’s clothing to be cut so low as to almost show us exposed…starts with a p, and she is a cat…except as it relates to fan boy drool. I find her clothing offensive because of this context.
Her sleeping next to Tygra. Well, he probably has the thickest coat, and a cheetah’s coat is thinner, so…

It’s never cool to refer to someone as a “ho”, real person or fictional. It takes away more power from women than the creators putting them in skimpy outfits or having them get intimate with male characters does in the first place. It’s not okay to call a woman a ho for baring her midriff. It’s her choice, and she should be allowed to make that choice without people calling her a prostitute. It’s not okay to call a woman a ho for having physical, not intimate contact with a male friend either. But if it’s not okay to point out that comments like that are not okay on this forum, then say so now and I’ll never do it again.

Like I say, I’m not endorsing the use of the term, just saying in my opinion I don’t think it was meant as harshly as it comes over, just used in a “flippant” way. I haven’t got a problem with you or anyone pointing out in a reasonable way if you feel a term or comment is unfair, such as you’ve done in this case.

Oh, yes, Snowman, plz! He was one of my favourites from the original series.
that was a pretty dull episode IMO, really struggled to get to the end of it.
I missed the first few minutes of the episode, but I can see this leading to the Snowman of Hook Mountain and Lion-O confrontation. Snowman wants/starts to fight Lion-O, but Snowmeow protecting Lion-O.
the pacing of the episode felt more natural than a lot of the previous episodes, and Lion-O felt a little more in charge rather than “hey, you guys have to do what i say cause dad said so” whiny
all together i’d say it was one of the better episodes
so the berbils having to build a new motor wasn’t a big enough clue? they keep getting stranded cause until now the 5000 year old tank kept breaking down.
Have we ever gotten to see the inside of the tank? Did I miss it or something?
I thought it was an ok episode. Berbils were a bit hard for me to comprehend sometimes, and I didnt enjoy Panthro’s baby talk all that much. Twins being hopped up on gummy bear juice was annoying ( Dang, I sound lousy :p)

Lion-O didn’t grate on my last nerve ! I had a least 3 or 4 nerves left by the end of the episode !
I agree with you, Chris. I think people are making mountains out of mole-hills with regards to Cheetara’s outfit; I don’t find it in the least bit offensive. I also believe they are reading far too much into her behavior with regards to Lion-O and Tygra. I saw nothing salacious in the opening scene where she’s asleep while resting against Tygra’s shoulder while he’s dozing with his arm around her. Remember, it was said that Lion-O and Tygra would compete for Cheetara’s attention, so I’m guessing the scene was deliberately written that way as a reminder. And no doubt it was written that way to get fans talking about it, like we’re doing now.
As for Larry Kenney’s “ThunderCats 'ho” remark, that’s also something people take way too seriously. I view it as Larry being silly and funny. Nothing more.

As for the episode itself. I had the pleasure to watching it twice and I loved every bit of it. The animation was fantastic as usual, if I must say so myself.
Now, as for the Berbils themselves: I loved their robotic voices!!! They were very similar to the Berbils in the original series. I loved that the Berbils were different colors, kind of an homage to the Care Bears, if I must say so myself. However, what I loved most was when Ro-Bear Bill introduced Ro-Bear Bella and their son, Ro-Bear Bebo.
This week’s episode was very enjoyable; the pacing and overall nostalgia was great, especially how they poked that how the Berbils sound unintelligeable at times, along with Lion-Oh saying, “erbil-derbily-erbil” as the finisher. Here’s hoping we see more of the Berbils.
Sorry this came in late. Saw the ep a few nights ago but didn’t have the chance to post until now. But suffice it to say, this episode ROCKED!!!

[li]I agree with those that this is the first time since “Tower of Omens” that we saw the ThunderCats acting like a real team here. Was very cool to see.[/li][li]The Berbils were excellent. Again, it was nice that they stuck with the classic sound of their voices, and their method of self-propulsion a la Samus Aran was a nice touch.[/li][li]Like how they worked-in Snowmeow! Obviously they’re setting-up the Snow Man’s appearance later down the line.[/li][li]The Conquador was a pretty neat-looking villain. Again, as with the Petalars, he had Miyazaki vibe about him.[/li][li]His ride was pretty cool, too. Kind of looked to me like a pimped-out Clone Turbo Tank.[/li][li]And yeah, the chase scene between it and the Thundertank was just EPIC!:D[/li][li]Favorite line: “Panthro’s eyes rain!” Best description I’ve heard of crying since Flash Gordon’s, “Water is leaking from their eyes.” :)[/li][li]I’ve said this before, but I thought it was hilarious that Wily Kat and Kit practically turned into Meth heads after eating the candy fruit!:D[/li][/ul]
All that having been said, I still had some slight problems, namely with the Berbils. As with the OS, we don’t get a whole lot in the way of background for them. Who built them? What was their original purpose? Seeing as they’re robots, why are they growing a plant that they would have no apparent use for since they don’t need to eat? And also if they’re machines, who or what programmed them with a need to create family units? I know like MST3K says, “It’s just a show. You should really just relax.” But I’ve always wondered about this stuff. So for lack of any better explanation, I’ll just stick with my pet theory of “Abandonded Cylon weapons project.” 
Despite all that, though, great episode! 
hi guys. haven’t written here in weeks.. but all I have to say is that if the producers are wise enough they should sack todd casey and let tab murphy write all the rest of the episodes.. honestly I was seriously thinking of quitting on the show after that hideous trash they called “legacy”. I mean.. not enough you made them disney characters.. now it’s something to compete with how lame Michael Bay can get? I mean.. mumm-ra is now a megatron?
and then i noticed something interesting.. the same guy who wrote that one, was also responsible for that dumbfounded “ramlak rising” version of moby d@#*.
people are gonna say.. well, he also wrote the first episode which was one of the strongest.. but he didn’t write it alone. I think michael jelenic was more responsible for the solidness of it and what made it interesting.
that latest ep. of the berbils was great.. and for that and for other great eps. (like that last one with the drifter) he wrote, I seriously implore the producers.. let murphy write the whole thing from now on. his work is cool, enjoyable and solid from start to finish not remotely like his colleague.
They still have to find the rest of the Stones, figure out how to use the Book of Omens and stop Mumm-Ra. Plus, getting all the animals to work together isn’t going to be easy either.

Actually, Tygra’s arm wasn’t around Cheetara when they were sleeping next to each other. That arm was the one covered in the black sleeve so you couldn’t really see it but yeah, the scene was meant to get us fans talking about it.
You think so? I think he said “RoBear Baby”, implying it’s RoBear’s baby, but I might be wrong.
OK dude, you can’t blame him for the big stuff. The big important plot elements like that are already decided well before the screen writers are involved.

The whole plot is already mapped out. Even the pacing issues can’t entirely be blamed on the writers cause you have to consider the director’s involvement as well. Now if you have issues with the dialogue THEN you can complain about the screen writers.
