I thought he was looking at his armor trying to figure out if it was something he could repair, just like they repaired Robear Bill. After all, the armor is mechanic as well.
well i saw it. the nod to the episode berbils from the original series which was never one of the episodes that i liked to much, this one was worse. the only thing i liked bout it was the fact that we saw snowmeow berbils make their first appearence and the creatures used from both series
i hope that the next ep is much better cause so far im not impressed w the series:eek:
Berbils that roll into balls and zip around, candy-fruit crazed Thunderkittens, Snowmeow and a couple of nods to the OS. I smiled a lot watching this episode 
I really enjoyed this episode. The twins where hilarious and I actually liked the Berbils. Who in the OS I just wanted to see bad things happen to. And I’m loving the chemistry within the group.
And ofcourse Snowmeow..

I’ll have to see that ep again and I loved the scene where he saves Ro-Bear Bill’s son. Now his new title is “Tygra Protector of the Small”.
Great nostalgia trip. The things I loved from the original series were present here. Lots of old characters and crazy weaponry/machinery. Nicely balanced screentime for many characters.
Definately one of the better episodes.
Some might still remember my gripes about the new series especially with the direction they’ve taken but one off episodes like this bring me back to the eigthies.
I can say it took me a moment to warm up to this episode- though I do like it (it’s too cute not too!) I definitely would have preferred something more pertinent to the main plot. The tank got an upgrade. Wonderful Tygra action. Loved Lion-O’s line that the bears aren’t property. Panthro is hilarious. “Don’t look at me.” I love how honest Cheetara is. She’s so matter of fact about it. All the male protagonists have soft sides…I’ve not seen this before. Huh. And as it primarily is a children’s show, despite my desire for more of the gravity in the premiere, I enjoy it very much. It easily brings a smile to my face.

Cute episode! And yes, I did notice its “Seven Samurai/Magnificent Seven” theme.
Ro-Bear Bill sounds exactly like the one in the OS. The problem, however, is that all the Berbils in this new take on them sound exactly like Ro-Bear Bill, whereas in the old series many of the Berbils had differing pitches in their voices (Ro-Bear Belle’s voice was higher than Ro-Bear Bill’s, for example). I like that the writers make the Berbils expert builders and mechanics, having them roll up into balls to move faster is another good touch, and actually creating Ro-Bear families is a pleasant surprise. Seeing the Giantors, the Trollogs, and SnowMeow again is great. The Conquedor is an acceptable villian, and that he recognizes ThunderCats on sight and refers to them as “fabled” makes you realize how far the Cats’ reputation preceeds them among certain Third Earthers, as the past eight episodes prove that not all Third Earthers have heard of them. It also raises the tantalizing prospect that the Conquedor may have captured a few ThunderCats and sold them off to the highest bidder, which would make for an excellent storyline where Lion-O and company have to rescue members of their own kind from slavers.
It’s hilarious seeing tough-guy Panthro melt into tears when he sees the vast improvements the Berbils have made to his beloved ThunderTank, which he still happily refers to as his “baby”. I have to admit it’s a little disconcerting to see WilyKat and WilyKit have the mother-of-all sugar rushes after consuming all that candyfruit, but it makes it interesting since CN decided to air this particular episode three days before Halloween. Maybe a little warning aimed at parents regarding their kids and the trick-or-treat candy?
I forgot, my one biggest gripe about this episode - What were the ThunderCats doing that had them stranded in the first place? Their mission for the first few episodes was to find the Book of Omens. They now have the book and have a fortress. They’ve made no mention of any other mission like exploring surrounding areas and for what reason and why all of them go out together. So I was annoyed that we just saw them stranded there with no explanation as to what they were doing that got them stranded.
As for Tygra with his arm around Cheetara as she slept - yeah, sure are making Cheetara the ThunderCats ho in this show, aren’t they? :(:mad:

Thats such an ugly word, and I dont know how you could associate anything Cheetara’s done with the connotations of that word.
She was only leaning on his shoulder. While it was cute for me to see them snuggled up, I hardly see anything sexual behind it.
and if it was??? How in the world does that make her a “ho”? 
Harsh? Larry Kenney has joked about Cheetara being the ThunderCats ho, that was not my original thought.
Two thoughts - one her dress and the other being the fact that she seemed to be leading Lion-O in earlier episodes and now she’s sleeping in Tygra’s arm?
Just to refresh their new mission is to find the other Power stones before Mumm-Ra so they can defeat him. That is why they left the "security’ of the Tower Of Omens. And Why they got stranded in the Middle of nowhere as they were trying to link the Book of Omens to the tank. Perhaps the Berbils can help with this too.
Just because he said it doesn’t make it any less tasteless, it’s a rather douchey thing to say. Nor do I see what it has to do with Cheetara resting her head on Tygra’s shoulder.
Her manner of dress is far from practical, but It hardly constitutes calling her a ho. Cheetara’s relationship with Lion-O is far from solidified. She does come across as flirtatious, but its not like she’s promised her romantic intentions to the guy. Even if she is romantically interested in Lion-O, her resting her head on Tygra’s shoulder is hardly adulterous.
How about we judge people for who they are on the inside, and not by something they can take off and put back on.

Wow. That’s just… wow.
I honestly saw them sleeping like that as them sharing a little bit of body heat while sleeping outside in the rain, because that’s really the smart thing to do in a situation like that. His arm wasn’t even around her, she was just leaning against him. And I’m sure Lion-O could have cuddled up on either side of them and they wouldn’t have minded, but he was too busy being jealous.
It really bothers me that people are so quick to label female characters as “hos”.
I agree, it’s a CARTOON! Lets try to keep it classy… More adult subjects can be discussed in this site’s The Great Void threads…

I don’t think CodeofThundera meant any harm by the comment, I also have heard the term “ThunderCats ho” used in a “jokey” way - by Larry, and also my first girlfriend was a huge He-Man & She-Ra fan and told me that she would be my “ThunderCats ho”!!
It’s definitely not a term I would use, or encourage people to use, but I think it was meant in a throwaway fashion, not as harsh as it comes over. In terms of the comment on the scene itself, I’m afraid at the moment I can’t offer an opinion because I still haven’t seen the episode!
My own feelings are that it’s quite legitimate for fans to comment on the way individual characters behave in the episodes - I’d probably take a stricter view if we were talking about real people rather than cartoon characters! 
But yes, I also agree with thunderianroyalguard, let’s try and keep it tasteful and classy!
