well if push came to shove, they could discover some technology for genetic engineering. that should get around any sterility issues.
Despite my past adamant thought on Lion-O+Cheetara, I honestly hope they don’t break up Tygra and Cheetara. If they make Lion-O like a sore loser and put Cheetara on the spot like “your supposed to be with me” talk…that’s gonna suck about his character…
I still hope they do not make Pumyra an easy “consolation prize”, she doesn’t deserve that treatment. If the writers did plan all along to make the cheetara love triangle simply built up to be the “red herring” to help solidify Pumyra to be Lion-O’s true love interest that would be very interesting to see how that would be told.
Now a speculation, If Pumyra is in the mix, and inadvertently made Cheetara react to Lion-O differently, either jealously or budding love sparks…again upsetting…and I’m not sure if totally speaking good of Cheetara’s personality in that “What if” scenario…
For Tygra, if his eyes starts to wander at Pumyra, and becomes distant with Cheetara…and again sparks another feud with his brother over Pumyra this time…another upsetting “what if” scenario that also won’t speak good on Tygra’s personality.
ok we have a handful of cat’s and two females. One is defintely out of age leaving one. Lion-O maybe King of the thundercats but with what a handful of cats. In his lifetime he may son an heir but what’s he going to show him as far as a kingdom. “everything the light touches is ours”? I’d be more worried about being an exstinct species rather then a bloodline.

You’ve got a point there. Maybe they’ll find some survivors, or once again my genetic engineering idea.
I think it’s safe to say, seeing how Thundera was re- imagined as a country this time and not a planet, most likely there are Thunderians that have branched out to other parts of Third Earth for “pick an answer” reason.
And most likely, Thundera will be rebuilt, but seeing how Lion-O is adamant about uniting the animals, New Thundera may become a more diverse kingdom.
And Wilykit’s age apparently didn’t stop the artists of Wildstorm Comics own continuation of the Original series several years ago. She was aged and drawn looking like Pumyra and Cheetara physique. It can be said that “well she has to age eventually” and thats agreeable, but they seemed to have a good time drawing an adult (or teen?) WilyKit.
I actually like the kitten’s It was cute to hear them Meowing at Lion-O. Plus the candy fruit and being hyper. Please don’t take the innocence of the children out of the show. I know they said he will grow up sometime I just dont want the kits too.

I retract my previous statement. Since its a hypothetical number. I’m sure it be enough in an end sequence to show a rebuilding with inhabitants ie 100’s but there not going to animate them all.
BTW any idea of NEW characters specifically cats not in the OC. I like Leo his eyes are so awesome hope Lion-o gets those markings later. Panthera was awesome as well a taller female cat.
@ Solace : I more got the impression that Lion-O would find a romance later down the road, than that the triangle would continue. That was kinda an issue some of us were talking about before, “Well if it’s being set up for XY then why the crap is Z involved?” And yeah, I don’t think wandering eyes will be brought up in a kid’s show. I really, really hope not. We don’t even know the back story for half the crew yet. Before even thinking about any more drama, can we please flesh these guys out a bit more?
I like the idea of Lion-O ending up with Pumyra. For the first thing, with her being a ‘Puma’, which is sometimes called the American Lion, I can see them having less trouble in having children since they are both ‘lion-like’.
Other than that, Lion-O and Pumyra are some of my favorite characters. (Snarf from the OS being my #1 fave) So I’d love to see them get together.
I can hardly wait to see what happens in the next few episodes.

Agreed, I guess the main problem is most likely due to Cheetara being the only resident grown female for majority of the time, especially in the Original series that is , until Pumyra was introduced. And even then, Cheetara had way more screen time. The new series, so far, is having Cheetara the most shown, and again until Pumyra arrives. This is most likely why most of us are arguing over who deserves to be with Cheetara since, quite frankly, there is no other to help bring some sort of balance.

Snarf did have his cool moments, but alot more annoying ones haha!
And yea, Pumyra in the original did look more ideal for Lion-O, but so did Cheetara… especially in moments in the new series. But definitely leaves one to wonder exactly how they will portray Pumyra in the new series, and how will she get along with the team?
Im sure with Snarf and the Wily kittens she will do fine. But how will Pumyra get along with Panthro, Tygra, of course Lion-O, but especially how will she get along with Cheetara? Will they make it like a “Tygra vs Lion-O” feud but this time between Pumyra and Cheetara over Lion-O?
Because if Lion-O matures over losing Cheetara to Tygra, yet Cheetara continues to give Lion-O support, will Pumyra get jealous? It sounds like a repeat Tygra. But may be with more depth.
He might have his annoying points but eh, I guess I just find him… charming? XD
Yeah same thoughts I’m having. That would be interesting, talk about having a ‘cat-fight’ between two women. 
I’m just… shocked this was the end of the season and we have to wait a number of weeks(or longer, is there a date for start of season 2 yet?) as I wasn’t aware until I looked on here that it was the season finale.
Anyway, I kind of hope Cheetara and Pumyra can become good friends, maybe not at first as it would be fun to see them arguing or other such stuff, but eventually.
I love that redesign of Pumyra! :o I really hope thats how she looks in the cartoon when she appears

It’s an ok design, but she really needs to be more covered up.
yeah i can defend cheetara’s outfit because she’s a runner, but this is a bit too…risqué.
the people who complain about cheetara’s outfit would have a field day.
Female armor tends to cover less than does male armor. Though there are many people who see this as mere fanservice, there are real, practical reasons behind it. First, females are statistically less muscular than males, and depend more on agility and cunning than raw strength in combat, thus lightweight armor makes more sense. In addition, a male combatant, faced with an attractive female opponent wearing revealing gear will usually hesitate and stare, even for a split second, thus conceding the advantage in a fight, Lolz
If we’re talking armor, leaving skin bare is always stupid. Even fabric provides some protection, so wearing soft trousers with that bathing suit would be better for a warrior who rely on agility.
And that costume looks too skimpy for a cartoon aimed at children. Plus it would be nice if not all female cats wore revealing outfits. But that’s just, like, my opinion.
It’s a nice edit, though, but I definitely don’t want her wearing that.
