Female armor tends to cover less than does male armor. Though there are many people who see this as mere fanservice, there are real, practical reasons behind it. First, females are statistically less muscular than males, and depend more on agility and cunning than raw strength in combat, thus lightweight armor makes more sense. In addition, a male combatant, faced with an attractive female opponent wearing revealing gear will usually hesitate and stare, even for a split second, thus conceding the advantage in a fight, Lolz

armor? she’s not wearing armor. the only thundercat that does wear armor is tygra (aside from lion-o’s shoulder & guantlet), and he has absolutely no problem being either agile or cunning.

and honestly if someone was really trying to kill a woman he’s not gonna stop to look at the scenery.

just a generic reference to how armor seems to be portrayed on females, ie games, mmorg, anime and comics. The artist rendition is scimpy, but it’s the closest thing I’ve found, gives up somewhat of an idea even though it could be 100% wrong.

Actually that’s a bit better than the other one. The other one was nice, but even I, who have no problem with skimpy attire, felt it was way to revealing. XD

Also, I’d like to see Pumyra’s healing abilites, and maybe turn her into an archer. I like to think she will be tne NS equivalent to the Warrior Maidens from the OS… a group of female pumas that lives in the forest and knows everyhting about it, natural medicine/healing and archery. That would be great if they make her a healer in two senses: medical and spiritual, as she heals Pantrho’s soul.

Yes, having Pumyra as a healer/archer would definitely work for me. I’d also like to see her as older than Cheetara and be someone she could confide in.

How about Bengali as the older, more level headed tiger? Maybe as someone with an extensive knowledge of Thunderian mythology/history?

Why does lion-o needs a love interest? I dont understand the obssesion of paring lion-o, why does he needs a girlfriend/mate so bad?

I agree because female characters need to be more than someone’s girlfriend/mate.

more than that a king needs a heir. but that being said a heir won’t be of any use until Thundera is restored.

From what I remember from the first episode, she would have to be a lioness.

Cheetara as a cleric would already be a healing class, so Pumyra would have to be something diffrent. I know in the OS She was the ‘healer’ although they never did -much- with that at all…

I’d like to see Bengali a bit older. More tiger eye candy for the ladies…yes I have a problem.

I don’t think healing is suppose to be one of the cleric trades . I mean wasn’t it pumyra’s trade ? Wouldn’t that be like giving tygra super speed ?

I would like to see her be a bit more reserved as far as outfit . People are just now getting over CHeetitra’s clothing . I also want her to be younger . Maybe 14-16 . More awkwad and unsure. At the same time spunky when she needs to be . That’s one of the only differences between panthara and cheetara . Panthara seemed like she would have been more willing to knock Leo on the head for being dumb then cheetara would Lion-o . Girls got moxy !

I truly hope they don’t kill her (Pumyra). Now that would reallly stink. I watched the last 2 episodes and wondered…why is Cheetara coming out now and claiming she choses Tygra? Something doesn’t seem right.

I think Cheetara was pretty clear with her reasoning for telling Tygra when she did. The brothers were fighting over her and she didn’t want to contribute to their already strained relationship anymore.

If Pumyra is a love interest for Lion-O I hope she is introduced later in Season 2 so Lion-O has time to reset after the “betrayal”.

I don’t think Cheetara would dump Tygra for Lion-o, that would make the character look flaky at best and manipulative at worst. But if she did do that , Lion-o and Tygra should both kick her to the curb.

I agree that she deserves a better reason to join the group. Maybe one is poisoned or ill and her skills as a healer are needed.

If any pairing I think it would be Lion-O although I would to see her be more of a friend first that would grow to something more meaningful. I don’t see Cheetara being that cruel to the guy. She made her choice and Tygra would have to do something really stupid to cause her dump him.
