The episode where Panthro’s fear of water was stated is “Journey to the Tower of omens” 
And I’m woth you in that having seen more “partnership” between the TCs would have been nice, like in the OS (although in the OS many eps showed some of the TCs being afraid of not being understood by the others). And yes, maybe make it more appealable to the OS fans.

The way Cheetara and Pumyra’s personality were handled. Would change Pumyra’s VA and the design, too. Have more females involved with the development of the series. FEMALES ROCK!!!
There was nothing wrong with Pamela Adlon’s handling of Pumyra’s voice, in my opinion. Caught the right amount of grumpiness and war growling.
I would change the way Lion-O manipulated Leo’s body in “Legacy.”
Why? What was wrong with that?
I think Lion-O could’ve tried seeing things from Leo’s viewpoint.
But he did, that was the whole point.
what’s your theory for Cheetara? - just curious -
Yup! I think the female characters themselves, for the most part, were interesting. But, I think the story suffered a lot for not showing more of the strengths, struggles, and concerns of the female characters to help flesh-out and drive the central story. For example, the story where Cheetara was breaking curses in caves to free the sword of plun-darr was just more interesting to me than when she was a side act making Tygra uncomfortable with public displays of affection. Also boring were the moments where Cheetara had clumsy/awkward dialogue to help with exposition/fill plot holes or something. I was hoping to see more of how the clerics developed, and why the Thunderans turned to magic and shunned technology – exploring Cheetara from this angle would have fleshed out the NS Thundercats universe a bit better for me. I think that might have been more interesting than Soul Sever.

Edit: I just saw that ridiculous @$$!^ Cheeetara sketch. I tried. I’m done with these people. Wish I could un-sign the petition. We all deserve a lot better.
I agree with this. Give us more opportunity to relate to Cheetara. Give her a motivation or a three episode arc that focuses on developing her personality and origins. I think writers should approach a main character with the intentions of making that character someone’s favorite. It’s something I think they should have paid more attention to with Cheetara. She really was little more than a plot device to further fuel the tension between Lion-O and Tygra. In all honesty, I thought little Cheetara was a lot more interesting then adult Cheetara. Seeing her desperation and determination was a lot more interesting then guessing whether or not she was romantically interested in Lion-O.
As for the fan art, it was unapologetic cheesecake. No problem with it in fan art, big problem with it in the show. Constant body panning shots are annoying …
Regarding the pic, this was not just “fan” art. This was the show’s art director. And in my opinion, it would have mattered less if the show had not treated the character dismissively as well. As a likely final salutation, I found the spirit of the sketch, and the director’s comments about it, disrespectful and disappointing. It’s 2012. We can do better. Really.
And about the personalities - I actually liked both Cheetara’s and Panthro’s personalities because I thought they were the closest to representing the Thundercats’ truth, honor, justice, loyalty credo. I would have liked much more time spent exploring those themes, and less time on some of the other points, as you mentioned.
Ok, I see where you are coming from, and to an extent I agree.
Lion-O and Panthro both got art depicting them as strong and threatening. Cheetara gets unapologetic cheesecake. Instead of an ass shot, we could have gotten a picture of her swinging the staff around, or something more focused on her face.
Definitely. Something more befitting a warrior woman. A sad way to say goodbye, but as it stands, it’s just not worth it.
I’d like for Tygra’s new whip to have a little more magic inside it other than turning Tygra invisible.

True. Though technically her unofficial name was Leona, which seems to have become her ‘official’ name.
