how would Silverhawks be introduced? I think because its completely another show…they will leave them out. They use to be a fav of mine too, but I dont recall sticking to the show. I was hooked on TC and Voltron…and I also remember the Gobots.. my brother and I watched that a lot too.:eek:

Bruce Timm ( Justice League, Batman adventures, Batman Beyond, Teen Titans )has dropped in on the toonzone forums before. Dwayne McDuffie used to interact with fans in his own forum before he passed.
Greg Weisman (Gargoyles, Young Justice)has his own forum to interact with fans and has admitted to lurking in a few forums related to some of the projects he’s working on.
I would be shocked if they’d never visited before. They might not comment, but curiosity is a killer.
If they have been here, I wonder how’d they reacted to my idea.
Anyway, anotehr kind of episode I’d like to see at least would be some sort of Halloween episode. No, not a holiday episode. What I mean is something legitamitely scary like something straight out of The Woman in Black.
Go to TV Tropes and post your suggestions and theories under the Thundercats WMG page. Dan Norton, Jeff Shiffman, and Michael Jelenic all read it, and Shiffman even posted in a thread.
They all read the forums here too. I’ve even had Dan reply to me on FB about a post I had here about how I thought the show needed more OS villains. lol
That being said they probably can’t take story ideas from here for legal reasons. Though I’m sure they’ve already thought out what they want to do with most of the OS characters anyway.

I would have liked to see Tygra become a third-party / second-party bad guy in episode 13 - at least that one would have made some sense. Go in to the Astral plane, keep the stone, and continue on;
- keep the stone, take Lion-o’s sword, get the book, go rally the Thunderian survivors (if any) and reclaim the alliances to go against Mumm-Ra
OR
- keep the stone, take the sword, take the book, team up with Mumm-Ra for a while to get the other stones (like Leo did in “Legacy”), then beat Mumm-Ra and take over the Thunderian kingdom with no more opposition.
…I really like Tygra, haha. There’s still time, sort of, for this to happen…maybe he’s waiting for Lion-o to collect the stones and defeat Mumm-Ra, so he can take them for himself? Ah, who knows
I’m waiting for the day then Tygra has to take over from Lion-O (for whatever reason that may be. No spoilers here!) and finds out the kind of pressure his brother’s had to live his entire life under, just to see if he cracks.
I don’t think he would crack; in fact, I found it interesting that the only one with any military training and leadership skills at all was the other brother, and not Lion-o himself. The series so far has made it out that Tygra can literally do everything he can, but better (has he won a fight against his big bro yet?), is calmer, and a better thinker. Lion-o…he acts as though he never learned a thing in his training to become the King. He’s kind of lazy, would rather check out girls than pay attention to his kingdom, is a bit of a nerd (“TECHNOLOGIE” ! 
), can’t win a street fight, daydreams, is reckless, and has been known to make some stupid decisions that put a lot of people’s lives at risk.
Tygra seems responsible enough to handle it, but if he lacks anything, its vision as to what the kingdom COULD be. I commend Lion-o for trying to rally Third Earth’s races together, and encouraging them to put aside their differences; maybe under his leadership, they’d have a peaceful, free world going. Tygra comes across as pretty traditional. Open to ideas, but pretty regimented, all the same

After reconciling with his brother in a spiritual plane that propped their inner demons up front and center, Tygra will proceed to be a horrible backstabber with no soul.
Aha, but it DIDN’T! That’s the great thing! If you look over it again: all that happened was a big misunderstanding. Tygra put him a hole, and left him TO GET HELP. Lion-o only accused him of being jealous for the throne because he was paranoid about the monk’s prediction, and Tygra snapped back about this, like any fed-up and hurt sibling would.
So essentially… there was no “deep” conflict whatsoever to be resolved. Nor was there any betrayal in that episode at all. 
And, you never know; Mumm-ra might get better at manipulating others, and use that unresolved jealousy against them again, especially now that we’ve decided to focus on this silly love-plot. It’s an outside chance…but still very plausible.
Right, but ANOTHER Lion-O and Tygra conflict is a bit redundant…especially if Tygra is the one who is the antagonist.
Tygra finally making things clear with Cheetara and asserting himself with Lion-O leading to “Oh, I’m actually secretly plotting to take the Stones from you” isn’t even vaguely…good. The entire point of the betrayal prophecy was that it was a very personal betrayal based entirely on Lion-O’s subjective feelings. The very fact you’re winkingly showing me, “There WAS no traitor!” shows how little you paid attention despite criticizing the writing. Tygra ISN’T a traitor, but Lion-O’s FEELINGS were betrayed. After what he saw as reconcilation with Tygra and what he interpreted as romantic affection from Cheetara both being dashed away from his point of view, the prophecy was fulfilled. It was a subjective prophecy that was made from Lion-O’s perspective. Whether you liked it or not is one thing (I’m not sure if you do or not), but misinterpreting what’s pretty blatantly there and then criticizing the writing in repeated posts doesn’t make you look particularly insightful.
Tygra’s entire arc throughout the first 13 episodes, particularly the near-end flashbacks involving Cheetara, show that he’s an ultimately good person who’s rough around the edges and has a giant urge to prove himself. But he’s not particularly EVIL. Per New Alliances, he’s a little racist maybe…but that’s upbringing. He’s not a big schemer. If you like this character so much, I don’t understand why you’d want something so counter to his character arc.
But that’s the thing (and I’m being a good sport about it; don’t get stuffy over a tv show, mate Relax. I’m here to present an idea and possibly get a logical explanation/discussion for it. Or…as much as we can get, over a children’s cartoon(?))
What I’m saying is, the monk built up the betrayal as probably the worst thing in the world, and all hands were pointing towards, Tygra might try to take the kingship, since he didn’t think his brother deserved it. The reason I supported this was because if you look at it, Tygra doesn’t really have a place on that team. Everyone else has a role but him. Even as the “older brother” role, he doesn’t act like one - he doesn’t push him, doesn’t pick him back up, doesn’t…do much of anything, really. (So I obviously just like him for his guns. Oh year.)
No, Tygra isn’t a bad guy, or a traitor - he never was (there was NO betrayal, given that Cheetara is as much a person as they are, and made her own decision) - but the conditions looked right so that he COULD make a move for his own reasons, healthy or not. And if something as simple as a woman coming between them is going to make them fight so seriously…is it so hard to imagine that another scenario might come up to split them, even if temporarily, apart?
And also, the monk changed that prophecy in the next episode, saying after that he would “feel betrayed” instead of “know a betrayal” of Star Wars-like tendencies. (Grrr, copped out, lol.) Maybe it was that part that threw me off. If he’d said “feel betrayed” from the beginning, then I would’ve been like, “Oh, sure, that makes sense, saw that coming, but I get it.” Since he said it the other way, I naturally took it as a cheat to the plot.
Also why I say it could still be a chance, and I know I’m nit-picking, is because of what happened in ep 14 with the loyalty-issue. That’s the first time we’ve ever seen them disobey a direct command. If they’re going to do that in every single battle they get handed to them, how can Lion-o trust them? What if something happens with Cheetara, and Tygra takes a leaf out of Lion-o’s book to do whatever’s necessary for her - including actually betray him? Making him a “baddie” doesn’t mean he’d be a “bad or evil person” so much as just an antagonist with motives, and a complex one at that.
And far more intersting to see than who’s in love with whom. (Grammatical?) Again, could be because of the wording of the prophecy. A little more character development, even if he didn’t become a villain, would be great, too.
