I’m watching MLP The Royal Wedding. 
How was it?
Finding out Twillight’s suspicions about the bride were true was a pretty good plot twist.
I didn’t see that coming I’ll say.
Yeah, it was a good episode. Maybe it’s just me, but when the real Cadence and Shining Armor joined their love and powers together to defeat the Changeling Queen, I got a real big Rock & Rule flashback…
“The power of one voice! One heart! One song! But there is…no…ONE!!!”
Also, I just wrapped up watching season 1 of True Blood. Yeah, I’m hooked on this show now.
Also I’m downloading the patch for The Witcher 2 on PC. They just released an “Enhanced Edition” for the consoles this week, and the developers just made that same content available for free to users of the PC version like me. The patch is pretty extensive, though, as it’s taking a lot longer than I realized to install.
Contemplating what to use as my new ringtone on my phone. Too many options… Too many GOOD options
I am realizing that each episode of the new series, in opinion, must be seen together, not examined individually to great lengths. Like Lion-O had to learn, seeing the big picture is important, at least to me. 
Very true! It’s what I like about this new version the most, in fact. It’s a serial, sort of like what the old Flash Gordon shorts of the 1930’s used to be. Or if you want a more contemporary example, like the classic Animes Star Blazers and Robotech. Or if you want to get really recent, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra.
I’ve said before that one of the things that disappointed me the most about the OS Thundercats was that it didn’t take this approach. Sure, we did get some multi-part arcs like “The Anointment Trials,” “Thundercats, Ho!” (which was broken-up into a five-part arc after having it been shown as a TV movie) and “Mumm-Ra Lives!” But by and large many of the eps were stand-alone.
You could argue that the OS did have sort of a loose continuity. And it looked as if there were some attempts made to give a sense of progression. But because the episodes were aired in a different order than what was presumably intended, a lot of that was undone.
Thundercats and its concepts are so big and epic, though, that it practically lends itself to a serialized format. It’s the Campbellian Hero’s Journey to use one example. And I for one am very happy that the showrunners realized that as well and are embracing it.
But I agree, this is a show that would probably play better if you watched it on DVD and didn’t have a seven day interval between new episodes. We’ve lent out our copy of the Vol. 1 DVD to friends, so they’ve seen it that way and they love it. So yeah, gotta be able to see the forest from the trees on this one.
Thinking about how I can make the most of my day off.
I can’t believe this is my last week of classes before final exams week! Today is my last Event Management class, next Wednesday I turn in my Event project which is equivalent to a final exam and the week after that is my last regular test…why he doesn’t consider that the final exam is beyond me 
Next Monday I have a final exam in Hospitality Marketing and the next week after that I have a final exam in Hospitality Human Resources. These three hospitality classes are the last of all of the hospitality classes for my college degree except for Hospitality Accounting, I need to take business math first and that is only offered in the fall semester. Next semester I’m taking my final requirements (technical writing, sociology, nutrition, and business math). After that, I take Hospitality Accounting and do my Manager’s internship and then I graduate.
Congrats Lynxie! Sounds like you deserve to treat yourself when it’s all over!
I’ve been sick as a dog these last few days. I don’t know if it’s due to the abrupt changes in the weather in this area or what. Sunday I had a sore throat. Then that turned into chills. Then my energy levels were low and my muscles ached slightly and I think I had a fever. Now I’m expectorating, and I think I had a fever dream! Good news is I think my fever broke and my strength and appetite are returning. But for the last few days I looked and felt like death warmed-over!

Now on another note…
I’m doing the impossible…I’m cleaning out the “Room of Death” aka the front storage room in my basement that is full of junk my husband wouldn’t let me throw out. “Don’t throw that out, there is nothing wrong with it! or I can fix that.”
He won’t even let me throw out the cardboard boxes old appliances or electronics came in. I can understand keeping the boxes for a limited amount of time just in case the item breaks and is still in the time-frame of returns but these boxes are a few years old! I went to throw out a box on Tuesday and my husband took it down to the basement saying “I have plans for that box” So what I have to do is cut up the cardboard so he can’t save it. I know it sounds juvenile, but I don’t have a choice.
He’s out working on a roofing job and will be gone for a few hours so now is the perfect time for me to do this.

Glad that the site is back up. When I went to check it last night and saw it was hacked, I thought to myself, “Oh man. That ain’t good!” Glad that everything got resolved quickly.
