I have cooked salmon on the grill and you are right, when done properly, it will taste just like a steak. I did that on a gas grill, I wonder how good it would taste on a charcoal grill? I just bought a new Weber table top one. I’ll have to experiment now.

As for me, I’m right in the middle of Mass Effect 2. So far I’ve recruited Mordin, Grunt, Tali, Zaeed, Kasumi, and Jack. Done loyalty quests for same. About to recruit Thane now…

Also, just got the Devil May Cry HD Collection for my PS3. Very cool!:cool:

Also managed to exchange my copy of Ninja Gaiden 3 for a good game: Uncharted 3. I had bought NG3 a couple weeks ago, but something made me not want to take it out of the shrink wrap and open it right away. Then later I saw and heard the reviews, and was glad I didn’t! The gods of gaming must have been smiling on me that day!:wink: Shame about that, though; the NG games had always been good up until now.

As far as video game are concerned, I don’t know what to do now. I just found out that PS4 is going to be a jerk when it comes to buying new games and it won’t allow online gaming with used games. Granted, I don’t play online because last time, my son was playing under my name and some raging losing player sent a few graphic PMs. Because of that, I won’t let my son play online. Well…he did kick a$$, he made the rank of general in less than one week.

That’s right folks, since my son played under my name, I am now General Queen Lynxana LOL. I pledge allegiance to the lynx and the bartender’s bible of America…

At this point, anything they say about the next gen consoles is purely conjecture and wild speculation. They’re not scheduled to come out until late 2013 anyway. And a lot can happen between then and now. So take any reports you hear about them with a very big grain of salt.

Personally, I sincerely doubt that then next gen consoles will prevent play of used games. First of all, how would that be enforced? Logistically it’s impossible. And there would be a big hue and cry from the game retailers like Gamestop, a large part of whose revenue comes from used game sales. So if that was true, there would be a big pushback from them.

I agree with others who believe the best way to curb used game sales would be via DLC and/or season passes. Becuase that way only you would have access to that extra content. Anyone else would have to pay their way for it.

Besides, like I said to you earlier, all the Mass Effect games are on Steam on the PC anyway. So playing it on a console is a moot point.

Lately I didn’t realize I was so much like my father till my mother told me as well as my sister when I took my son and daughter fishing for the past few times this past week. The creek was restocked and I wanted my kids to catch something. Daddy always took me out fishing all of the time.

Again, Easter is coming and my mother still dresses up. She was short on cash so I got her make up and all the other stuff she wanted. She’s happy and well, that makes me happy. I’m still broke but I will eventually graduate from college and I take good care of her when I can. I still do, it’s tough at times but hey, she raised me for 18 years till I moved out, and even after that she always helped out so I help her out now.

Ocelli and I are in southern NJ now, as my mom plans on having an Easter brunch. Sadly I haven’t seen the new episode yet. Had a pretty full day. First I had just realized that I had to take my car for emissions inspection. I hadn’t realized I was a few days overdue, so I rushed out immediately before the station closed for the day (I passed, in case anyone’s wondering).

Then I wanted to get started on a research paper for one of my classes. It’s not due for another couple of weeks, but I still wanted to get the jump on it. Better now than procrastinate and have to do it all at once, no? At least I have the hard part - the research - done.

After that, I had lunch, then went down to Hampden (a neighborhood of Baltimore) to drop by the antique/curio shop a friend of ours runs. While we were chatting, Ocelli calls me up from work asking if I could give her co-worker - who’s a Brony - a lift to the nearest Home Depot to get some material for a costume she’s making for the upcoming Bronycon, then drop her off at the light rail station.

After that, I go back to pick up Ocelli. We head home, pack what we need, then drive to NJ. We stop at a place on Rt. 70 called Pietro’s for dinner. Excellent pizza, BTW! We get to my mom’s around 9:00.

Then she asks me to help her out with a problem she’s having with Kaspersky. She got it renewed, but the activation code isn’t working. Turns out she has Anti-Virus, but purchased a license instead for Internet Protection. So I have to uninstall Anti-Virus and download and install the correct program and activate it. Seems I’ve been her go-to IT guy for whenever she needs help with a computer problem.

So now as I type this, Ocelli’s sleeping, and I’ve got Night of the Living Dead playing on my Android phone. Looking forward to tomorrow’s brunch.

Oh, Lordore, I think you had said something about my kitten looking too skinny. Yeah, I realized he wasn’t eating the kitten food I was sent home with from the shelter. Apprently he didn’t like the taste of healthy kitten food. So I started buying him Kitten Chow and that fattened him up. So that’s why he probably looks a bit too scraggly in the picture. He’s now 9 months old and much bigger and a healthy weight. :cool:

I’ve discovered a couple of new guilty pleasures recently. The first was after I got HBO Go for my Xbox 360. Once I got that, I started watching True Blood. My friend Keri once told me it was one of her favorite shows, and now I can see why. Awful lot of sex going on there! :smiley:

The other is an Anime called Panty & Stocking With Garterbelt. It’s about two angels who have been kicked out of Heaven and tasked with hunting demons and evil spirits to get back in. Panty is a nymphomaniac who’s determined to have sex with 1,000 men before she has to go back to Heaven. Stocking on the other hand just has an obsession with sweets. The artwork is very stylized, and looks more Western than it does Japanese. If Lauren Faust of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fame was given the chance to do a TV-MA rated cartoon, I’m guessing it would be something like this.

ROFLMAO! I just watched the first episode of Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt on youtube a few minutes ago and it’s the funniest anime I’ve ever seen!

The only time it looks like traditional anime is when Panty and Stocking are transforming. My jaw dropped on how Panty gets her gun, I couldn’t stop laughing for a good few minutes.

This is a very powerful and moving commercial! Talk about timing, today I worry about my mother and after seeing this video, it makes me love her so much more as I am reminded of all of the hard work and sacrifices she made for me and my sisters. I am not an athlete, but this commercial applies to everyone with a wonderful mother.
