I agree because I usually have to deal with a lot of issues. I wish it was Tuesday because that’s my next day off.
Well that’s not bad, you only have to go to work for a day before getting another day off. Everyone where I work, minus my boss, has just had a really bad attitude as of late and it’s just annoying. I feel like I’ve been picking up slack for them a lot, but when I lay off and leave work for them to do instead of doing it for them, they don’t do it or gripe. They walk around like they’re mad most of the time. I try to ignore it as best I can and just focus on my work, but I just don’t really enjoy being around them. They’re kind of a drain.
AWESOME! I just booked my hotel reservation for the convention and the sight seeing. They gave me a fantastic rate! I spoke about it to my college professor and he told me it’s safe there! Being a hotel college student has it’s perks!

What was really helpful was I knew all of the right questions to ask and the hotel lingo.
Found out I get to sub on Friday! A full day too! I need the money so bad…I gotta start saving up for the Captain Ukitake cosplay I wanna do at Tekkoshocon this year. 
And then there’s saving for the convention expenses (weekend pass, hotel room, food…), and then saving for the national bowling tournament in Reno this year…uggh

I’ve been running to the store and I should do a load of laundry before I go to bed.
I’m having a great night. I had my securities and risk management exam today and I feel I did good on it. I don’t have classes tomorrow, only M-W so I can stay up and goof off online. Everything just seems to be falling in place to my advantage tonight. Oh yeah, for once my kids actually went to bed without fighting me about it
Hope they don’t make up for it tonight. 
Right now I’m multitasking between posting here and playing videogames. lol
Right now I’m having a great night! I got paid, I went to the store and got luggage. I never got the chance to do that before because I never went on a vacation before. I got the clearance from my kids’ school for them to have Friday off and even the teachers got excited about the New York pics I’m gonna take at the several museums we are going to.
My mother wants to see how this goes because she wants to see New York before she dies and if my experience goes well, then I’ll take her. If it goes bad, I won’t risk my mother in that situation,.
My husband plans on getting a great camera. I’m writing up my schedule for what we are going to do…well every morning I want breakfast in the hotel. I would love to go in a room and having someone make me breakfast for once
Working on my last two courses to get my Bachelor’s…Legal Aspects of Health care and my culminating project aka Senior Capstone Project. It took me a total of about 7 years to complete my bachelors but Ill finally get my degree before the year is over

Right now I’m going to go shopping with my kids so they can get the toy Sword of Omens from Toys R Us…I just hope we don’t spend too much because I have to leave some Thundercat toys for Christmas. And I know my kids are going to beg for everything in that line today.
Edit Wow, since I have two kids only a year apart, I had to get them each one. Of course my daughter wanted the clawshield and you know, what one gets, so must the other. She still wanted the other sword of omens instead because it fits into the clawshield. I tried to reason with her that the deluxe sword is only $7 more and it’s better but she still insisted. So I ended up buying two deluxe sword of omens, two smaller sword of omens and two clawshields. With tax, those six toys ran me $97.46. OUCH!
It was fun buying a new Thundercat toy for the first time in 25 years and seeing my kids play with them was great. The only drawback I have is at first it was great hearing my kids press the buttons and you hear the sounds coming from the sword…but then after an hour it gets annoying. :rolleyes: One thing I am grateful for is it has an “off” switch where the kids can still play with the sword but it won’t make any sounds. Thank you Bandai for keeping the ThunderDads and ThunderMoms in mind

Due to a family emergency, I will not be going to New York afterall. Don’t worry, it’s nothing health related and there was no death, it’s just some family drama that requires the money I was going to use for the trip for new living arrangements.
Maybe next year.

queen lynxana, you must be having a great time shopping with your kids, girl! sometimes i take my 11 years old brother to the mall and he is all so excited! I can relate how you feel and the enthusiasm you share!
though if i were to buy the New Thundercats with my kids, most likely my passion would run over the top, exceeding theirs:thumbsup::liono, besides we were waiting 25 years for this event!

I’ve spent most of the day doing laundry and taking out my fall/winter clothes out of storage and exchanging them for my spring/summer ones. Also, I’ve been packing for NYCC and I’m checking to see if I have what I need.
