When I was a little girl, we had this female cat named Smoky. Smoky was very jealous and territorial…but when we got a kitten named Winston and he tried to nurse from Smoky, Smoky stopped hissing and took him as her own kitten. It was very cute to see this.
In other words, it might take some time for them to get along.
Slithor’s present was at the table and it was Kingdom Hearts: Re:coded. He also made me scrambled eggs and sausage while I was getting dressed. I’m looking forward to my next day off to use my Barnes & Noble and Trader Joe’s gift cards.
Also, the Sears Outlet I work in recently got recognition for raising $1600 for a great charity called “Heros at Home”. They help families of U.S. veterans and if I can get a link up, I’ll add it to this post.
I’m getting ready for Midnight Madness in 22+ hours for Gears 3. It will be my first outing to a midnight release of anything, movie or game.

I’m just enjoying my night off after doing my last exam. My cat is asleep on my bed looking sooooo cute! When I lightly touch her belly, I can feel kittens. I will be posting picks when they are born. And yes, before you worry, I already found a pet shop that wants the litter of kittens. And it’s a good pet shop. When I was 16 I worked for the owners in one of the their pet shops as a kennel girl on the weekends. I do know they have a vet that shows up on a weekly basis and Lynxie’s kittens will get their first shots before they are even brought up for sale.
They will go to good homes. I have also found a place that can spay Lynxie after the kittens are weaned and gone. It will cost $70 but that also includes her yearly shots and feline leukemia shot. I normally get her vaccinated in October but she’s pregnant so she will give birth in November and I can’t do anything till January, when the kittens are weaned off of milk.
I’m glad you were able to find a home for them and I’m looking forward to the photos.
I’m going out to Trader Joe’s and Barnes & Noble to use the gift cards I got for my birthday.

Not having a good day. One of my (many) kitties got hit by a car and went into hiding…if I could find her I’d take her to the vet. I missed a call for a substitute job because I had my phone on silent. (In the world of substitute teachers: Not called out missed a call= no money). The weather here sucks though I’m happy to see a little bit of sunshine peeking out, and I think I’m coming down with a cold. Also I couldn’t sleep at all last night for some reason.

I think it’s allergies…though I’m being careful. I get a bad cold like twice a year.
Sims 3 ROCKS. And soon there’s gonna be Pets. Meaning HORSES! (<–almost a little too excited about the fact you’ll be able to have horses in this game)
Vicks 44D works wonders for me and they now have it in flavors that don’t taste like ****. Also super hot showers, Vicks Vapor Rub, and hot tea. 
Sad news: the kitty cat didn’t make it. I buried her under a nice shady tree. To be honest, I’m not horribly torn up about it. I mean, I’m sad, but not that sad. I think it’s 'cause I already prepared myself for the fact she wasn’t gonna make it. Silly kitty though, if she hadn’t hid I could have at least had the vet check her out. Though her back end was pretty messed up so I don’t know if the vet would’ve been able to save her anyways.

Not a fan of the flavor of cough syrup. I take pills as much as I can to avoid the flavor of medicine. NyQuil Gel Caps should help me to sleep tonight.

Actually Vicks has this berry flavored cough syrup that’s really not bad…and you’re talking to a gal who’s had to take a lot of cough syrup. But whatever works. I don’t dare take NyQuil…I’m afraid I’ll be knocked out for like two days with how my body responds to medicine. XD
In other news, I had a meatball heel sandwich from Staffileno’s in Wellsburg…DELICIOUS.
Not for me, it wears off after the six hours it says you can retake it. But I’m calling in sick tomorrow, so it would be good for me to sleep all day.

So many things coming up…gotta pay for nationals (bowling), gotta save for Tekkoshocon (anime convention in Pittsburgh), and gotta save for my trip to Reno, NV (National Bowling tournament).
